My creating a Steel Titans thread here? Chemion had glanced at it before, and after reading some of the stuff over, suggested it would make a good realm.
At the time I chose not to, as I preferred the open format of being a simple thread in the Barton town forum.
However, as of late, the rp has wound to a grinding halt. And I've been thinking of redoing the entire character creation thing as either a seperate webpage, (which might be easiest, as I would then be able to keep it from being deleted), or as an ooc thread, and then linking to it. this would keep the front page from being so... daunting.

I was considering making a "free-reign" sub forum, where people can create RP threads at will. It was something I had planned for later, when the guild got more active, but I could always start it off now.
How it would work is basically you create your thread there, with all the information of the RP in the first XX posts of your thread. Then you'd create a character thread in the Bios forum (first post or two would be the character template). Characters would be posted as a reply to your character thread, rather than how it's done with a full-blown Realm.
I would probably be interested in trying out Steel Titans if you decided to start a thread here for it...

So in essence, it would be an rp forum, where others could create their own RP threads, just as in Barton Town. But thankfully, with a bit more moderation in mind.
The Reason i was going to have my character creation as a link, rather than a posted template, was for the following reason.
After doing some major overhauling, my original Steel titans rp has gone from one detailed character class, to 9 detailed character classes, each with their own quirks, benefits, and equipment.
In post format, it ends up being a nightmare to glance through and read all of. Not to mention the horrendous crossrefrencing.

Oh yeah. Well if it's a lot of information (which it looks to be from what I saw), then yeah it would probably make it a little easier to manage.

Hooray, mechs. I haven't done anything with them since AC2:AA.*shudders* Anyway, believe it or not, I'm actually a big fan of mech scifi, due to my watching large numbers of '80's Transformers reruns as a toddler. I even added them to my M.U.G.E.N roster.
I'll join as soon as it's done.

Yeah, I'm also interested in trying this out. I haven't ever done mech RP before, but I'm sure I could pull it off wink
I'm not sure if we'll ever see Steel Titans make it to Shattered Realms though. Choco hasn't been active for a while now, sadly. I haven't even seen him on AIM lately. sad
