I was invited here to bring my voice to this forum in particular, though I doubt I'll stay only here. I'm far too opinionated for any one sub-forum to contain.
I've been playing Magic for 13 years, though I'm only just now deciding to try and take my game to a competitive level. I intend to make a run at PT San Diego in just a few weeks time, and after that, a run at PT Valencia.
Let me just say that, while I do intend to play to win, I do not net deck without very good reason. The net is to show me what the other lemmings will be playing, so I may prepare with the proper tools to defeat them.

Ello ello. Heh, talking about how long we've all been playing for some reason reminds me of being in an AA meeting or something.
I'm Sharon, im 19 and I've been playing for about 7 years. Ohhh, do I get a keychain?!
For real though, thanks for the ad. Always cool to talk about new ideas and what not.

... I have been interested on getting into magic for a while now. But never really found the time. Oh well, I will get into it because I think magic is an awesome oportunity to test my skills in order to combine whatever I am given and so defeat my opponent...
the closest i have gotten to play card games is Yu ghi Oh! But I know that this is child play compared to magic

I like the idea of using other's net deck profiles to scope the competition. I would totaly use that tactic if I had the time and money to tour. Im nineteen and ive been playing since junior high.

I scope competition by playing both online and off.... looking at net decks for research on trends is okay, but not copying them...
