My old favorite has always been a 1/1 creature enchanted with lure, venom, and gaseous form.

You get a creature that forces all creatures to block it when it attacks and then venom kills all blockers. The gaseous form keeps it from dieing. A flagbearer or two will keep any spells from targeting the nuke.

Yours?

Okay, for your combo, Wrath, Damnation, Sulfurous Blast, Nausea, or any of a number of other tricks will break the combo apart. Not saying it's a bad combo, but it's fragile.

My current Combo of Choice is Radha, Heir to Keld + a +1/+1 counter + Mark of Sakiko + Aggravated Assault = Infinite Combat Phases.

mine and a persomal fav. would be play mortipede and have it make all creatures block it, then play sudden spoiling to make all your opponents creatures weak 0/2's and to add insult to ingury they lose all abilities, this combo if played at the right time can wipe out a single army with one attack and because sudden spoiling negates the stack, they cant counter it

Niv-Mizzet the Firemind + Ophidian Eye.

Niv's ability is, every time you draw a card, you may deal 1 damage to target creature or player. You can tap him to draw a card.

Ophidian Eye: Any time this creature deals damage, you may draw a card.

Infinite loop, baby.

For Bubble Matrix and Lure, I loved using Thicket Basilisk. Then, 5th Dawn printed Tangle Asp, and the combo started going off around turn 4 instead of 6, because the curve worked better.

For personal favorites, I like Tombstone Stairwell and Teysa. Nice, inexpensive combo that gives you lots of critters, and can combine with other cards for even greater synergy. Ie, Goblin Bombardment for lots of damage, Soul Warden for lots of life, Fecundity for lots of drawing, etc, etc.

As for Rule of Law/Arcane Lab, I generally prefer to have an Erayo's Essence.

Standstill + Decree of Justice is another one of my favorites, and I used that in a U/W Landstill deck for the longest time.

Today I just thought of a combo.

I'm not sure if it is already used but it goes like...

Enduring Renewal, sac effect (Nantuko Husk maybe), Ornithopter, and Soul Warden.

This popped into my head when I found out Enduring Renewal was time shifted.

The idea is since Ornithopter is a 0 drop, you bring it to the board and gain one life from Soul Warden, sacrifice it (with Nantuko Husk in this example), Enduring Renewal automagically brings it to your hand instead of your graveyard, and you go again... "forever".

Obviously, whenever you are done you will have a very strong Nantuko Husk ready to swing and a lot of life.

Hopefully they don't have a chastise in their hand...

a bit large but fun. tested IRL and on MtGO
12 billion+ damage
Mycosynth Golem, Myr Retriever x2 , Ashnod's Altar (Or Krark Clan Ironworks, doesn't matter) Any source of Red mana and blaze. <>

AS with any combo, have back-up plans... example: My brother knew i was gearing up for this combo so before I could play blaze, he played castigate targeting blaze, leaving me with 12 billion and one mana to spent or be burned... luckily i had a CoP: Artifacts on the field and sunk it all into protecting myself from the darksteel forge.....

make sure your golem, one of the retrievers, red mana source (we'll use Great Furnace for this) , and altar (ironworks) are in play and a Retriever is in graveyard.

1) sacrifice a Retriever to the Altar (ironworks) for 2 colorless mana.

2) When the retriever hits the graveyard, select the retriever already in the graveyard to go into your hand (retriever ability).

3) Play Myr Retriever for 0 cost (golems ability)

4) Repeat steps 1-3 until desired amount is reached. I usually choose 12 billion (online i used 30 because you have to clear everything, but in person i do it to 10 then ask if they can or will stop me, then if not i skip ahead to 12 billion unless my opponent objects)

5) Add one red mana to mana pool from Great Furnace

6) PAY 12 billion and one mana for Blaze. Target your opponent.

I used this at a tourney, my opponent thought my mana gathering was cheating and called over a judge who told me to speed it up and chose a number of mana... i said first number to pop into head "12 billion" and then he told me to use it... i played blaze and well....

Favourite Combos eh? hmmm...

One of my more current combos that I liked was Megrim, Pain Magnification and Anthem of Rakdos with Hellbent. follow it up with Flamebreak to wipe out all opponent's hands and cause them to take 4 damage per card discarded.

Extra fun involves Standsill in play before I Flamebreak.

I know it's fragile, but in most cases people have other things to worry about than a Pain magnification and a Megrim in a deck that shows no discards
