so who else is going to name their black cat gwenhwyvar (if they ever get a black cat that is)? or what other animals from fantasy series are totally awesome? a lot of books have animals as key characters(but we are not talking about the Animal Farm type of key characters here...haha)

I doubt I'd name my next black cat after her (only because I tend to butcher names down to simple nicknames. XD) but she totally rocks. I love that they gave a backstory as to where she originated and how Drizzt came to find her.

I suppose your refering to the Sellswords books? Yes, they are, although the second and third books are adult. It's interesting to learn of the moral struggles Entrieri has, and his backstory. And then, of course, Jarlaxle is there to push him along the whole way.

Gwenhwyvar is neat, and comes in handy, and is one of Drizzt's closeest friends, as well. I sometimes have a mind to call my coco that. ^^
