Does anyone else yell, "Forg Blast the Vent Core!"

Didn't really play it. I had it on the collectors edition marathon disk but never got very far. I get a bit jumpy in dim environment games. I tend to pass on horror games.

Marathon (1, 2, & Infinity) aren't really horror games. Although sometimes enemies come out around blind corners when you least expect them. I wouldn't say it's like System Shock 2, aside from being stuck on ship that's being invaded by aliens. Although in the harder game modes you may be screaming in terror(or wrath) as volleys of staff shots force you into worse and worse positions.

I only recently went back and played Marathon all the way through. Then continued on and replayed 2 and Infinity. It was still fairly fun. biggrin
