I understand that developers of the N64 game 007 goldeneye also helped make the Timesplitters series. Most noticable in their similarities are the graphics, which both have a somewhat cartoony feel to them. I love how the gameplay in golden eye has evolved into the gameplay in Timesplitters. The feel of the games are a little different in several aspects though. Like the fast paced action in timesplitters, to the average paced action in goldeneye. I don't feel that Timesplitters is getting as much recognition as it deserves. I think that it's as good now as goldeneye was back in the late 90s. Which do you prefer, Goldeneye, or Timesplitters?

I've yet to play Timesplitters but I did play Golden Eye
I still perfer Perfect Dark for the N64 over Golden Eye and I'm still thinking about trying Timesplitters.

I'm a big fan of Timesplitters. Timesplitters: Future Perfect should be played by EVERYONE.
In fact, I think I'll go play some right now! 3nodding

Haven't played timesplitters yet but goldeneye was an awesome game.
Personally I too prefer Perfect Dark over GoldenEye, solely for the style that perfect dark had.

Timesplitters, especially number 2.
BTW, Some people from Rare (the people who made Goldeneye) went away and made their own company, Free Radical, who did all of the Timesplitters series.

Timesplitters felt to cartoony for a shooter for me. The game was filled with all sorts of silly stuff and when I wanted to shoot, I wanted to do it seriously. Golden Eye was my favorite N64 shooter, Perfect dark came second. Timesplitters was the one I played when I felt silly.

Time Splitters is an amazing shooter game, and I had much fun on it. But, I would have to go with Goldeneye. A while back, whenever I went to my friend's house he'd bust out his N64 and we'd play against each other in Goldeneye. It's an amazing game and very wellmade FPS.
