If you post favorite or suggested anime in this thread please include a small tidbit of information about it. This is to prevent any trouble that might arise from age recommedations of the anime. We don't want some pre-teen accedently watching hentai in front of his/her parents because someone simply posted the name of the anime and told them it was a good anime.
This thread is to suggest anime that you've enjoyed to other people that might be looking for a new anime to watch. What this thread askes you to do is post your favorite or suggestion on a good anime so others came come and use them for references when looking to start a new anime. While asking for a new anime to watch I recommend you post what type(s) of anime you watch or enjoy watching. You may also post a list of anime that you've already watched, when I do this I tend to star my favorites on the list.

I'm probably missing a few but what ever.
My favorite four of all of these, and the anime I suggest most is.
Death Note- A very dark and indepth story line about a young adult receving the power to kill any one by writing their name in a Death Gods notebook. The worlds top minds work to finding out who is killing these people and how it's being done. Recommened ages for this anime 14 years and up.
Panda Z- This increadibly funny short animation has no talking and limited sound, but if you have a sence of humor, watch it with a few freinds and have your selfs a laughing fit. Good for all age groups
Ninja Scroll- This blood filled clasic is one of the cornerstones in anime, if you like any samurai slashers this is a must, I suggest starting with the move and if you like that then take a look at the animated series. Should be 17 or up to watch. There is small amount of nudity and more blood than you can think of.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni-(Mitcheru-kun) Genres: Drama, Mystery
Maebara Keiichi has been living in Hinamizawa for about a month. Hinamizawa is a very small, quiet country village, with lots of trees, fresh air, a small school, garbage heap and a lingering secret. Keiichi has befriended four girls in the village, all of whom have distinct personalities. However whenever one mentions murder or an accident they become darkly quiet and quickly avert the subject. Keiichi however is in for a lot of trouble.
WARNINGS: GORE GORE GORE with a hint of insanity

Outlaw Star was a great sci-fi anime for anyone around the age of 15 and up. Anyone under that should watch the Cartoon Network edit, not the uncut, and avoid the 24th episode AT ALL COSTS.

And i have most of them on my external Hard drive = 400gb... and there all in Avi files!

I usually like Horror, Shoujo, Shounen, School Life, Comedy, and lots of Gore.
I have a couple suggestions of my current favorites I'll add more later. =3
xxxHOLiC (Rated T) Ok the xxx means addiction and holic are collectors. Not the other way. You just say holic. stare
Falls in the genre of mystery, suspense, sci-fi, horror, and comedy.
I recommend the manga than the anime a little more. But it's really nice to see it all in action.
It's about a high schooler Watanuki Kimihiro that can see spirits and ghosts. Then one day he arrived at the Dimensional Witch, Yuuko Ichihara. She said she could get rid of the spirits... for a decent price. And now Watanuki works after school for the mysterious witch and her two strange helpers..
Karin (Rated OT) Not to be confused with Karen.
Falls under Romance, School Life, Comedy
The Maaka family have been vampires for generations. But for this one, there is this girl Karin. She is a vampire that everyone rejects. Instead of sucking blood she has to inject her blood to her victims or she'll have a very embarrassing huge nosebleed. She is the total opposite of vampires. She's afraid of the dark, ok with onions.. etc. Her younger sister Anju who hasn't awoken as a full vampire yet usually cleans up all her messes for her. A transfer student, Kenta Usui comes and Karin's blood starts to increase drastically..

one of my favorite comics right now is the Great Catsby, well it a manwha(sp?) a Korean manga.  Quote: Product Description Catsby, twenty-something nobody, loses his girl-friend to another man. A richer man. His pal Houndu treats him to wine, women and song, but there's no forgetting the lost Persu. The thousand humiliations of youth are poured upon Catsby, who feels far too much to begin with, and whose prospects go from bad to worse. Now he's petrified by his father, now drunk on the floor, now freaking over a blind-date, now convinced it's all for nothing. And that's just volume one of this groundbreaking new series. No detail however vulgar or delicate is left out as the angst of youth is beautifully dissected. so far four are out, and i love them. i'm not sure what it is, but it seems to speak to me in some why. the art work is a little strange at first, but it kind of grow on you after a while. also, only the main characters are portrayed as animals, all nobodies or just one time shown are human. but the whole animal thing is never point it out, like just stull like "oh i'm a cat with a tail" or "i'm a dog and i can smell stuff really good." but any ways this is a really great book, if you like stuff like Mega Tokyo, you'll like this as well.
