Thsi thicket of trees doesn't extend far, but with a clear opening in the middle and it's convenient location, it makes for a prime spot. Techniques:

A jutsu that destroys/cancels out an illusionary jutsu attempted on the user.
- Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique) D-class, Ninjutsu, Supplementary
This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.
- Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) E-class, Genjutsu, Supplementary
The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
- Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) E-class, Genjutsu, Supplementary
This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are substanceless, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent.
- Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique) C-class, Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Creates a large sphere of water, that holds the opponent inside it. The prison is difficult to escape, yet, the drawback is that the user must keep contact with the sphere to keep the prison working.
- Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique) B-class, Ninjutsu, Supplementary
A highly effective cover technique. Blankets an area in a thick fog, confusing the senses of the enemy.
- Suiton; Teppoudama (Water Type; Gun Bullet) C-class, Ninjutsu, Offensive
Ninjutsu where the user hurls a compressed ball of water from their mouth at an opponent.
- Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Mist Clone Skill) B-class, Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Creates clones composed of water. When hit, it automatically dissolves and returns back into shapeless water. This one is capable of attacking. The clone has 1/10 of the power of the original. It can only be controlled while still in a certain radius of the user.
- Suiton; Suijinheki (Water Type; Water Barrier Wall) B-class, Ninjutsu, Defensive
Creates a blast of water from the mouth, usually used to block fire type attacks.
- Suiton; Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Type; Explosion Technique) B-class, Ninjutsu, Offensive
Sends a large spinning pillar of water towards the opponent. Can only be performed when near a moderately large water source, and uses a large amount of chakra. It's a devastating jutsu.
Trademark Technique:
- Susanoo no Tenbatsu! Boufuuu Gekiretsu wa Kusanagi (Divine Punishment of Susanoo! Furious Storm of the Kusanagi) Ninjutsu, Offensive
Four pires of ice raise from beneath the target and hover in air for a moment. Each one cracks, then shatters into two swords, making a total of eight ice blades. They fly with blindingly fast speeds and skewer the target seven times from the sides, then the final attacks by plummeting straight down.

Soya wears wraps all across his torso upto his shoulders, covered by a mesh top. He's got his Ninja-to strapped to his back by a belt going across his chest, his Leg Holster tied loosely to his left leg, and his belt buckled across his waist. He wears a pair of black pants that go down fully to his ankles, going over his sandals. His forehead protector is tied around his right arm rather than the head (armour in picture). He's got messy brown hair and half opened blue eyes. He's also left-handed.

Enji stepped through the trees, stretching with a yawn as he walked into the clearing. With that, he walked towards the house in thought. He step to the porch, but wasn't really sure if he wanted to go in yet. Instead, he sat down to wait for the others.

Soya meandered into the area more slovenly than usual. Dark circles under his eyes stated why. "Unbearable. I've been up to my kneck in paperwork. All just because some asswhole tried to save some money. Honestly, we've seen his siezed funds. He had more than enough to get quality help, B-Rank or higher. And now look...we've lost a student, and the other's been shipped back to his home half-alive. Pray that he gets raped in jail.
"In any case, we've got a new student coming. His name is...Ocheno? Wierd. He should be here soon." Soya plummeted down and stared up at the sky, which was bright and clear for once. "In the least...no one got attached." "You know that that's a very rude thing to say, Soya," said Naomi out of nowhere from behind them. "Coffee? You may have been up for a few days, but it's still early for those of us who actually do need sleep."

"I know what you mean..." he said with a sigh. "I might have died as well if I hadn't of dodged the support beam that gave way."
"Where are they from? Around here or another village?"Enji looked up at the sky as well, looking at how everything seemed so peaceful now. He rubbed the bandage that's still taped to his cheek as a reminder of what went on. "I'm not really sure what to think of what happened. I'm not sure if it was a trap or if he only wanted to save some cash... All we can do know is better prepare ourselves for if it ever happens again."

Ocheno walked into the area and looked around until he spotted the others. He jogged over to them. "Hey, I'm not late am I?" he said to Soya. "I was wandering around the village and lost track of time. Gad, I need to buy a watch..."

Soya leapt back up, nearly making Naomi drop her pot of coffee. Oh! He's here. Yes, well, it's still fairly early, actually. I'm surprised that you're already here. Just a quick rundown, that over there," he said pointing to the apartment," is my house, you'll be staying there. This is the training area, where we'll...train. Now go ahead and introduce yourselves to each other, but make it quick, I want to get today's training done ASAP. I'm beat."

Enji stood up, raising one arm up over his head. "Hey. The name's Enji Tatsunami, and I'm from right here in the Hidden Mist." He said with a bit of a smile. "Looks like we'll be teamates as of today. I'll be looking forward to work with you." he said with a bit of enthusiasm.

"Let's just hope you last longer than the last--" exclaimed Naomi before being cuffed silent by Soya's hand. "Anyways! I'm Soya, your sensei. You can learn about me later. This here is Naomi. Don't ask. And-- OUCH!" Naomi bit him... "Well that's not very much polite. Fine! I'll be in the house, then I've got work to do." Naomi struted back to the house and left Soya sitting there without his dignity.
"Anyways, once more! I'll let you two talk during the training. We're going to start with the basics. First off is something essential for any shinobi; chakra manipulation! It's a very easy process. Merely channel your chakra into a body part, and it'll react with whatever surface that limb is touching. Such examples...well, wall walking and water walking...more and more, I'm sure. anyway. Watch me, then try it."
Soya stumbled over to a tree and walked straight up it with no excertion. "You see? But I'm sure that they taught you that all ready, if not, then I'm not quite sure what they're teaching anymore. You guys won't have to do anything so...mediocre. Instead I'll have you try to hang from a tree limb with a flat palm. It's easy, but if you really need any more help, I'm going to go burn down the school."

Ocheno blinked at the odd picture of Soya-sensei standing sideways on the tree. Damn... They didn't teach this kind of thing at the Leaf Academy... It couldn't be too hard, could it?
He steeled himself, put a bit of his chakra into his feet, ran straight up the tree and back-flipped onto a nearby branch. He switched his Chakra to his right palm. He grabbed onto the branch with his palm, and swung under it. "Well, that was easy-EEEEEAAGGGHH!!" He lost his grip, having used too much Chakra in the effort of actually getting up the tree, and fell.

Soya broke out into uproarious laughter. "Well! It was a valiant try, but really, the only time you want do try that is if you're trying to lunge into an opponent. Since this is, apparently, your first time, remember to take it slow. Nothing fancy until you've learned the basics! Then...oh, then you can try things like..."
Soya kicked off the tree, leaving the tree itself unharmed, then flipped up in the air. He threw his hands about, thena sudden blast of water came up from the sea below the cliff, making a roaring 'whoosh' through the air. The pillar stood idle for a moemnt, long enough for Soya to land gracefully on the top. "This!" With a calamitous crash, the water fell back to the sea, taking a standing-still Soya with it.
A few seconds later, Soya walked back up the rocky hillside. "Okay," He shouted, "now you, Enji!"
