*Bright colored wings fanned at the air that seemed warm about this bright red bea that had apparently wandered very far from him and from his family. A family known for its cruelty to everything and everyone, dark black tail twitched behind the stallion as he seemed to pace at a certain point, not knowing if he had gone astray from his plotted course or had he been waiting for someone to show up. Whatever the reasons, dark ebony eyes glared at both the ground then the skies above.*
"Figures that no one can ever arrive on time." he muttered to himself as he turned to head back from whence he had come, grumbling to himself.
*Trotting at a fair pace he didn't know who or what he might run into, might be even his father's rival, Storm. He only heard stories about this... Crossbreed that his father had met a while back, said she had acted strangely, but he cared not. Thanamos himself was willing to pit himself against this legendary Storm. He wasn't scared, why should he have been? Thoughts clouded his mind as he ambled near blindly away from the boarders of two lands where he was supposed to have met up with a family member and stalk out this strange rumor about a 'herd' of stuck up Jala that had appeared. Doubtless all suspicions were wrong and he was going home to where his sister and himself could terrorize the locals to their likings. These thoughts brought a smile to his muzzle, clouding his concentration even more, to the point where he might walk into someone unexpectedly.*

Storm was wasting no time. Having deposited Melantho safely among the two youths it was now necessary to make it to Katilenuck - and quickly.
She kept all ears alert and swiveling, along with keeping her mind open. There was large quantaties of nonsense floating about, but Storm had learned to carefully sift through it in order to find exactly what she needed. It was a necessary precaution to take, especially since she found out what happened when she kept her mind closed.
A acid scent caught her nose, making her slow the pace a bit. She was entering Fyhi by foot. Not trusting that Melantho wouldn't follow her in; or rather, hoping that she wouldn't.
It was none other than Thanamos, a naturally distrusted son of Attia and Brakrin. Storm's last run in with one of the three had been poor at best. The mare had seemed more like a plush cushion than an object to be threatened by. Would this one, then, be any different?
Storm didn't even need to scan his mind to answer that question.
No.
If anything, he was more dangerous than his parents, only because his youthful inexperience would cause him to strike out quickly without reason. She would have to be wary, or she'd barge into the Jala lands with a deep gash in her shoulder.
"Well, well," she smirked delightfully. "And who is this I see?"

*Ears perking straight up, Thanamos stopped upon hearing the voice of another, standing stalk still he looked around for the source wondering if it was just his mind playing tricks. That was easily solved when his black eyes fell upon the horned Jala that had apparently been traveling in his direction. Shaking his head as the normal glare crossed into his face. Pawing at the ground he watched this Jala with no intentions of being nice, but who said that the son of two evils was nice?*
"What are you gawking at mud wallower." He snapped rearing up to show that he wasn't one to just let anyone pass him without a fight. "Going somewhere important? Sorry, they'll have to take a raincheck."
*A smirk grabbed at him as he stepped closer, unknowing that it was Storm herself that he was about to pit himself up again. Then again, he was always blinded by the instincts to harm those he hated, which was almost everyone, then to think clearly enough to leave well alone. Pacing to one side, then to the other, looking to see which side he would bruise first, those that knew his parents would see that he was his father's son in all aspects.
But something was keeping him from striking first... This jala kinda reminded him of the nequus his father had spoken about. Though it wasn't exactly a crossbreed, it wouldn't matter anyways. Who ever it was, would meet his hooves sooner or later. Rearing once more he came forward, toward Storm looking to twist about and bring a blow to the side, purposefully missing as to try and strike fear into the jala in some way to chase it... There was some small doubt that this would work here as it had with his skittish sister.*

Storm waited, listening to his challenges, threats in a sense. She said nothing, took a step or two back, in fact, as if to show she was unsure.
He was definately Brakrin. Attia would have waited and played with words before striking. Haughty and young, then. Older than her four daughters, but not old enough.
His greenback showed in the way he fought. Storm had learned long ago that to be the first to charge without surprise was death waiting to bite you in the backside. Most calculated as they went, and they experienced could pick them off easily with a side swipe, or simply step to the side and render their attack harmless.
Though, it seemed that was not what Thanamos intended at all. Perhaps he had some wits about him. Still, if she timed it just right . . .
There was a few brief seconds when he charged, and that's when she spun as if to run away she wasn't even going to wait for the kick to come. She only had to move forwards for a few brief seconds, tearing at the ground with as much speed as she could muster. If he was as his mind said, natural instinct would say to beat her into the ground.
So after going merely a few feet, she stopped dead, and lashed out with her back hooves, hoping to squarely knock him somewhere in his chest or head.

*Caught off guard by the retaliation of the mare he was shoved back, loping a bit as the hit had not quite taking him in the chest, but his shoulder at best. Backing away from the mare he snorted raising his head up high as if to see better from the lower gaze. Favoring his left leg a bit he tried to ignore the twinge of pain that seeped through it when ever he stepped down upon it. Baring venomous teeth he watched the mare in silence, ears twisting themselves as far back as they most possibly could.*
"A challenge, huh?" He grinned pacing once more, ignoring the pain she hda given so easily. "Father won't be pleased with you, you know. Neither will mother."
*Thinking back to his parents made his cruelty spark higher as he watched the mare. Watching to a moment to try and get her back for the blemish she had given him, it would come. He would have his chances to strike back, hopefully to deal his damage worse.*
"Come on gutless, your date can wait, I'm sure he's as repulsive as you are for sure." Thinking back to the crossbreed he and his sister had tormented some time before, oh what fun that was. "Then again, nothing can be worse then crossbreeds of three species. They have no place and deserve not to live." says not knowing that it was her children he was speaking of.

"I think already highly displeased with me," Storm commented. She wondered if either of the pair even realized she existed. She hadn't seen, or heard of them, for so long. It would be a wonderful thing to have them tossed to the wind in such a fashion. However, the grumpy son standing here was giving an acidic taste of reality back to the situation.
"I suppose he can," she agreed, and turned to go, towards Fyhi. She wasn't stupid enough to attack him head on, and she paid no mind to the insults of her children. They could take care of themselves, and if they failed to do so? She'd personally drain each of the blood from the bashers, slowly and surely, until they died in a lake of their own crimson.
"Oh," she turned her head back as though suddenly remembering something. "You don't mind waiting, do you?"

*Thane watched this mare as she tried to head toward her destination, he was quick to 'limp' in front of her as to cut her off. He wasn't leting her leave the spot, his ears twisted even more back as she asked him about waiting. Raising his head up a little and to the side he warched her with a single black eye.*
"Why should I wait? Not like your going to be coming back if I do let you leave. I would be standing here for most likely eternity waiting for your flea ridden hide." He snorted looking at her square again.
*He wasn't about to let the mare escape to who knew where and leave him standing there looking like an idiot. Wings fanning the air at his sides, he stepped closer toward the Jala, looking her over even more, smelling the stink of another on her hide. A bea, figured, even if it was of his own species, but anyone that took this maggot for a mate deserved to die.*
"To throw all shadows into the light and I'm making an educated guess, you wouldn't happen to be the righteous Storm, who has sworn to protect my gutless uncle Blaire... Would you?" he asked as his eyes narrowed at her, his sore leg moving as s hoof pawed at the ground. "If you are, I would most likely be doing my family the honor of putting you down."

"No," Storm responded, with the shake of her head. "You've got the name right, but I am sworn to no one." Smirking lightly, she watched his sore leg.
It was time to give this boy a little lesson in tough love. She didn't wait for his response. He was right there in front of her, pawing a leg. In fact, she didn't even have to turn to kick.
Pawing the air with the hooves she struck forwards, using her back legs as moment and aiming to bite him sharply on the neck. A good spin and a kick to the chest and she could be galloping away again. Wear him out by getting him to charge.
If he refused, well, she had other methods of beating his tiny head in.
The filth he smelled was probably not Bae at all, but Melantho. She had not seen or heard from Velg'larn in a long time - and for that she was grateful.
"Remember, Thanamos, I take no mate." Her ears were pinned, steam coming out her nostrils in challenge.

*A snort came from the rash youngster as he reared when she did, lashing out with hos own hooves, though missed completely, coming back down to earth, wincing as he landed on his 'injured' leg, curse the mare that had done it to him. Wings fanning out again, wishing they could at least give him a little bit of lift off the accursed ground. Sadly, he had traded in his flights of fancy for brute strength. Lowering his head he charged after Storm.*
"You say that now after what I've heard? Gutless flip-flopper aren't you?" he grinned coming at Storm, his mind a mess.
*It wasn't long after that, he broke chase of the mare and meandered off in another direction, apparently tired of this whole, 'cat and mouse' game. Where he, the mouse, was chasing the cat. Ears pinned back to his skull, Thane seemed to vanish into the shadows, despite the brightness of his coloring. Was he really gone? Or was this something else he had planned? Only Thane seemed to know as he laid in wait thinking that Storm would continue on her way and he would follow.*
