Naegino Sora Sora's parents took her to see a Kaleido Stage performance when she was just a tiny girl. Although they died shortly after their trip to the Kaleido Stage, and the fact that Sora went to live with her aunt and uncle, she was inspired by her childhood memory of the performance to become one of the performers at the Kaleido Stage. With her aunt and uncle's hesitant approval, she traveled to the United States to audition for the Kaleido Stage. While Sora was wandering around trying to find the Kaleido Stage, her bag got stolen and she got picked up by the police as a possible runaway. Due to the fact she was late to auditon because of all the hold ups, Layla Hamiltion, current star of Kaleido Stage at the time, would not allow her to audition. However, due to an injury in the cast of the show Kaleido Stage was putting on at the time, Kalos, the owner, allowed Sora a chance to perform. He viewed the performance as her audition, and allowed her to stay at Kaleido Stage. Most of the cast members did not accept Sora at the start because of the special circumstances through which she joined the Kaleido Stage. However, Sora wins them over little by little with her magnetic personality and her persitant hard work.
