Personality: Ailín is, above all other things, interested in his own well-being. He feels no strong compulsion to help Dark Oaxuians, but nor does he feel like he has to help the Light ones either. He tends to help whichever side is likely to provide him with more entertainment. Occasionally, he likes playing the two sides against one another, just because ‘Hey, it’s more interesting that way!’. The thrill of being caught in this game only adds to the fun as far as Ailín is concerned.
He avoids physical confrontation as much as he can and is not above simply running away if he feels the situation warrants such rash actions. He would much rather settle situations with words rather than fights, simply because he is much better at speaking than he is at actual fighting. Not that he’s a weakling with weapons; as an Anwen, he isn’t particularly strong, but he makes up for it with speed, agility, and acrobatic ability. He’s more than a little arrogant, however, and is always certain that he’ll come out on top if the world ever comes crumbling down. Oh, and he’s also pretty vain about his appearance as well.
Outgoing and charming, he gets along with most individuals. If there’s one race that he has issues with, it would be the Crow, surprisingly enough; ever since he heard the rumor that Crows develop mental powers, he’s been edgy around them although he’s starting to believe that it’s just a silly rumor like getting cramps if you don’t wait long enough before going swimming. Silly rumor or not, he doesn’t like the idea of anyone knowing what he’s thinking. Like most teenage males, he can be easily distracted by overactive hormones, which could explain why he doesn’t like others looking in on his mind… or it could just be his distinct anti-authoritarian streak. Despite his charisma, he enjoys his privacy and does not mind being alone once in a while. Most of the time, he prefers to seek out the company of others.
