Journal Entree I: Dandelions
My master gave me this journal so I can use it to keep up with my medical studies, but I want to write more in it than just notes. After all, I've never had a journal before and I love to read so I should love to write, right? Anyways, I went out the other day and met this incredibly kind Sarus, named Julian, he was kind enough to cook for me. I love my master, but he always cooks the same things. I get bored eating roasted chicken four nights in a row. It's nice to have differen't things. Things have been the same at the shop. It's boring. Well, I better right down something that looks like notes. My master might actually check to make sure I am.
Uses for Dandelions:
- Dandelion leaves can be used to treat anemia, jaudice, and treat nervousness.
-The milk of a dandelion can be used to treat warts without affecting the surrounding skin.
-The milk of a dandelion can also be used as a repellent for mosquitos.

Today was a great day for me. Master gave me some knew clothes. Well, they actually aren't new. I found them while cleaning out the upstairs storage room. They're a little big on me right now, but there is no doubt that I'll grow into them. The first thing I found was a long blue-green jacket. It had a gold stitch pattern running threw it. After that there was a pair of black pants with the same gold stitch pattern. I feel kind of fancy wearing them. I even got myself a bluish-green ribbon to tie my long hair back. When I see myself in the mirror I think I looked very professional. Well, I better get back to writing down notes.

I'm worried about my master. He went out earlier today to take care of a some things and when he came back he was all beaten up. He said he slipped and fell, but it looks like someone beat him up. He sleeping now up in his room. I hope he's ok.
On a happier note I finally bought myself a book. It's about dragon slayer and his apprentice. I just got to the part where the apprentice is about to slay his first Dragon! I'm so jealous. I wish I could be a dragon slayer's apprentice, but I'm stuck working with medicine. I want adventure and I want excitement! I want to get out of this place! Well, I'm sure it'll all be worth it...someday.
Well, I should probably write some notes.

I don't know what to do! My master kicked me out of the shop. I can't seem to stop myself from crying. It was so sudden. He came in, after an errand and just grabbed a bag and started packing for me. At first I didn't know what was going on. Then he just thrust the bag at my chest and told me to get out. I don't understand. What did I do wrong. The master I know would never do this to me. I've been sitting out on a city bench for the past hour. What do I do? I don't know what to do.

I was lying on that bench for a long time. I watched the sun rise. The sky started to change from it's deep blue to a light lavender-blue. Then it shifted to a blazing orange. People began to appear on the streets. I was feeling cold, but I didn't seem to posses the strength to open the bag master gave me and see if there was a cloak. I couldn't stop myself from wondering what I had done wrong. Then it came to me, slowly at first, but quickly growing stronger. It was the smell of smoke. The same smell as master's coooking, but it was so much stronger. I stood up and went to it with my head down. The road was so familiar. It was the road home. I wanted to go home. I wanted to sleep in my bed. I wanted to eat my master's horrible cooking, but when I got back a crowd stood in my way.
I looked up and saw it. A fire on my home. I stood there watching. I was unable to do anything, but watch. I stood there a long time. Until most of the other people left. It was gone. My life was gone. My master was gone. What do I do now? What do I do now?
