Okay.
I've browsed through some threads here and in other guilds.
And from what I've seen, lot's of the chat is like
"OMFG HE'S MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!!!!!! YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM!!!!!"
Or Something about hating a certain character because he's/she's hanging around with your cartoon obsession.
Now if you think a certain character is cute and whatnot, I don't give a ********.
But it's the rabid fangirls that obsess over the character, and discussing it like it's real, makes me ashamed to sometimes admit I like anime.
*NEWSFLASH*
They aren't ******** real.
They aren't ******** yours.
They aren't ******** going to sex you.
So get the hell over it.
You can like the character, It's just when you start FIGHTING OVER THAT PIXELATED CHARACTER, is when it makes you look like a ******** retard.

No, really, it's annoying, but you just gotta let the fangirls do their thing! ;;^^
I mean, since I have a thing about yaoi pairings- ("GO ON, JUST SCREW 'IM ALREADY!! EEYAH!! *gleam eyes*") I can kind sympathise with insane fangirls. Just a bit. Or more like, I can ignore them until they calm down. And not beat down their obsession. 'Cos that's not really nice. Y'know?

I mean, I can sympathize with fangirls being insane, because I'm insane, too. But as soon as you go on believing someone is real, it's a problem.
There's a link to someone's profile... in another guild... Ohhh, I'll have to find it. It's simply priceless. It totally freaks me out. o___O
I'll find it, though.
Seriously, fandorkism is totally okay, imho. But, seriously, if you take it THAT far?? It's got problems. YEP. And so do you.

And who says it isn't real? All these people, real people, with belief in their minds... ought to count for something. Maybe, if we imagine, if we dream hard enough... we can make them real. All perceptions and mirror images in so many different minds, all of them compiled together, will create the reality. Every time you think of them, every single neuron in the brain devoted to creation, is reaching out to pull them from behind closed gates...
And I'm sure I'm not the only fan who'd be willing to transmute themselves to open the gate. -_-

And who says it isn't real? All these people, real people, with belief in their minds... ought to count for something. Maybe, if we imagine, if we dream hard enough... we can make them real. All perceptions and mirror images in so many different minds, all of them compiled together, will create the reality. But questions must be asked about a world that is so sad and disconnected that people fall in love and sacrify imitations of real life, things meant to be loose interpretations taken as Truth. What is wrong with us, that we feel emotional over imaginary characters, that we can't just pick up and move on? What is important anymore, in our sight- that a real live person be saved, or an image on a screen not... "die". I don't care about the wars in the world, don't care about some people across the country slain... all I want is my anime world. All I can feel is the pains of Amestria, the mirror image that has become the only viewpoint.

LOL, I know. I mean, I TOTALLY GET WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM. I, too, am like, "OMG SOB," if one of these fictitious characters dies! My point is that even though I do the same thing, I have this small inkling that it's not exactly right. I mean, it's not very impressive.
I don't know why we get so emotional over these characters. The whole thing is more real than the real world, and I always have to tell myself not to turn into this person who truly doesn't know what's real and what isn't.
That said, it's a great way to forget about the real world. I mean, I don't want to hear about the horrific things that happen in real life! I think it's better to be lost in this world where, even in the darkest recesses of your mind, you're registering that it's not real.
DAMMIT. I'm so confused now. What's real probably isn't to begin with; and what's the point of all of this? I don't know why I'm asking such philosophical questions!

D: ( aside from the fact that I am one ;D ) OSHI, I completely forgot about this thread. *head-desk* Very, very sorry. HAHAHA. I completely understand why you're ranting like that.
