Great book! One of my favorites, in fact.

Have you read Ender`s Shadow? The two of them complement each other in a great way. And getting to see Bean`s perspective is a curious experience, to say the least.

Have you read Ender`s Shadow? The two of them complement each other in a great way. And getting to see Bean`s perspective is a curious experience, to say the least.


Actually Speaker of the Dead is the sequal to the book.

He didn't say it was a sequel and it isn't. Shadow is a paralel to Game, telling the same events from a different viewpoint.

Speaker, xenocide, and children of the mind may technically be sequels to game but they're more like an entirely different series. They aren't written in the style of game at all and liking game doesn't mean you'll enjoy the speaker progression.

Shadow, on the other hand is very similar to game in voice as well as plot. If you're looking for books "like Ender's game" Shadow and its sequels Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, and Shadow of the Giant are the place to start rather than the rest of the Ender series.
