It was a hot, bright day and the sun shone down on the grasslands - just like every other day for as long as Uri could remember. Unfortunately, it made the charcoal cat too warm despite the white spots on his pelt. There just weren't enough trees and scrub for him to flit from cover to cover and stay in the shadows.
After an hour or so of walking in the long grass - dismal as shelter from the heat, but better than nothing - Uri was please to find a waterhole. The proud cat waded right into the center of the shallow pool and lapped up the water at his feet. After cooling down, somewhat, he lay down to clean his paws, striking an affected pose.
Even dusty and sweaty, confidence and grace would lend him a handsome air, he thought. Though there didn't seem to be anyone around to bask in his glow.

Weusinafsi was out on the move looking for some prey, so far though she had no luck. "How boring." She mumbled to herself, her pink eyes scanning the lands before her. Her long tail flicked behind her aimlessly as she moved. Every second was growing increasingly boring for her until she saw a flickering movement. Her head tilted just slightly as she stared at the flitting figure.
She came to a halt curious as to what it was exactly when she got a better glance at it. A feline, a cheetah to be exact.
Finally something to play with
"Hello." She cooed out trying to catch the other's attention with only words.

"Good day~" Uri realised he had an audience before the leopard - female? One could never tell with the uglier, bulky species... - reached him and greeted him. Cooing. He stopped cleaning his fur and turned his light coloured eyes on the other feline.

"What brings you out here sir, that is if you don't mind me asking." Weusinafsi asked with a slight tilt of her head and a soft smirk barely showing on her features.
Musn't forget my manners... The female thought to herself almost in a mentally scolding tone for -almost- forgetting.
