Have you ever wished that it was real....?
On my 11th birthday i was sitting by the front door waiting for a letter from Hogwarts to come through the letterbox for me..... i wished so bad that it would and when it didnt i was like gonk crying
im 16 now and im still waiting for that goddammed letter, it think it got lost in the mail..........

lol i was like really bummed out i was all like well scotlands different so then i hoped on my 12th birthday n it was like....NOPE NO HOGWARTS FOR YOU n yet again i was like crying emo

i wished so bad it was real. after i turned twelve, i was so depressed. yeah, i think mines just been delayed. ITLL GET HERE!!!!!!!!

I think my parents hid my letter 'cause they wanted me to go to a normal muggle school crying

I remember when I turned 11 I was so depressed. All I wanted to do was grow up to be a witch - my friend and I made our own wands and everything! Costumes... wands... potions...
but no letter.

i started reading the books when i was like 12. but i always hoped that my letter, like so many others say, was lost in the mail. now i know that it will never come but i always thought of the books as an escape for me. like when the real world got too tough, i would pick up a harry potter book(it didnt matter which one) and just start reading. then i could go to hogwarts and no longer be a "muggle" for a couple days. so i guess my letter came when i first picked up harry potter

I always figured the poor owl couldn't make it over the ocean. Either that, or it got lost, due to the fact that for a while when i was around 11 there was somebody stealing mail...
stupid muggle, stealing my letter....
mad D with that being said, i never really wished for one. I had strange dreams in which i found it and went, i had dreams where i was like.... in my 20s, and went to Europe for a bachlorette trip before i was married, and got my letter then.

See... It's just because I've been moving a lot, lately.
That's why they can't find me. Either that or...
Something happened in the 7th Book to Hogwarts.
But we will have to find out until July, aye? :]

Haha. When I was 11 and 12 I really wished for it. But it never came. So then I was like "If I can't get it....PLEASE don't let my brothers get one." And then after that, I thought if I got one at 13 it's because I was going to a different school and they just start at 13 and not 11.
After it didn't come though, I just kinda hoped for it occasionally but I wasn't like HOMYGOSH I DIDN'T GET A LETTER! *cries*

I still sorta hope for my letter...and I am five years over the age where the letters come. XD Sometimes I think and hope that it got lost, or my parents took it which is why my brother gets alot of praise, or that it is some sort of test to see if I am intelligent enough...and then I read the books or fanfiction and imagine myself there. *sighs* Maybe someday...
