So, tell us all the tale about how you got addicted to Yuri. :D
It should be rather amusing to you, but I got addicted from Yaoi. o.o; You see, in the Yaoi roleplay guild I got bored and join a Yuri one. xD It was...interesting. So then I explored the Yuri Subforum and HALLO Kaitlin like Yuri.
Not that amusing, but yay~ I bored you~

Most likely from the yuri pairing threads in Hitome Wo Koete--and they they started popping up in my other Guilds. xD; Well, all I really support at the moment is TemaTen, and neutral to almost anything else. Unless I despise it to the ends of the earth.
But the possibilities are endless, and that's what got me hooked in the end.

There was nothing to turn me against it except for my friends.
The first yuri I saw was TemaSaku. It NEVER crossed my mind for yuri to creep me out, and I mean, I already liked yaoi, so why not yuri?
Then I saw InoSaku, and I just grew obsessed. xD

It wasn't actually... Naruto-related...
I had encountered yuri when I was deeply into Sailor Moon (yeah, I was an SM freak! In fact... I was a lot younger than ma' dear Ane-kohai when I encountered it). I mean, c'mon--Haruka and Michiru are blatantly and obviously together. *cough* Anyway, I didn't really... like it much then, to be honest. I stood it pretty easily.
I didn't get into it until I was actually around Ane-kohai's age, 12, and I came to appreciate Somi in the Digimon fandom. (Somi=Takenouchi Sora *coughstupidfreakingplayercough* and Tachikawa Mimi)

Yeah I guess my first Yuri was in Sailor Moon too...
I have to admit that at Anime Boston 2007 I bought some Sailor Moon Yuri doujin...
but I love the women especially when they are loving other women so yeah Yuri was a natural thing for me.

I only recently found out at Uranus and Neptune's relationship. (I can't remember their names! *wants to re-watch EVERY Sailor Moon episode now*)
I was totally obsessed over the movies...Especially the one with Tuxedo Mask's friend, and the flower asteroid thing...

I only recently found out at Uranus and Neptune's relationship. (I can't remember their names! *wants to re-watch EVERY Sailor Moon episode now*)
I was totally obsessed over the movies...Especially the one with Tuxedo Mask's friend, and the flower asteroid thing...
Sailor Moon yuri never even crossed my mind. O=
They had a relationship like that?.. Interesting. I want to watch it again, too...D=
And America got rid of the sensei/student relationship I loved so much, too. xd (Not in that perverted way, mind you...) You know, Rika and Terada-sensei from Cardcaptor Sakura, if you've seen the uncut/read the original manga.

@_@ The end of XXXHolic?.. I'm only at the 2nd volume, so I don't know much. But that is weird. I mean, Sakura will outlive Syaoran, but...
The end of the Cardcaptor Sakura manga pretty much told us that Syaoran and Sakura would be together forever.

Hmm. Well, I started out as a yaoi fangirl. Yaoi was teh LIFE. And when a friend of mine tried to show me a anime called "Noir" and said that it was yuri-ish, I have to admit that I was rather put-off. I didn't like the concept of yuri- I remember thinking that it must have been only for those male perverts out there. >.> But then I came to the conclusion that if I liked yaoi, I would have to at the very least accept yuri (otherwise I would be a hypcrite X__X) So I did. And as time went on it really didn't bother me anymore; I didn't necessarily *love* it, but it wasn't so bad. And then I was introduced to the Tifa x Aeris [Final Fantasy 7] pairing. That's what really got me to start liking yuri. I read a couple fanfics (which were reeeaaallly hard to find D: ) and that cemented it. I started liking yuri pairings in different fandoms, and my love just grew and grew. I've done an about face basically- now I (( slightly)) prefer yuri to yaoi. ^__~ Anekio Hamaguchi ;___; I want Yuri Manga from the 70's.

To put a very long story short:
1. Watched loads of Sailor Moon
2. Grandmother passed
3. BF (Now my GF) kissed me intimently and conferted me (Now my GF)
4. Guy just wanted my body and I refused
5. Decided to go les.
6. GF showed me yuri and I thought it was hot.
Ok maybe this isnt short but that about sums it up. lol
