Here's the journal of Musashi and XV. XV calls Musashi "My Human"; "Mu" or "My Biped". Musashi calls XV "Fifteen" or "Xeevee".

Relations.
MIX - Has met with MIX outside of the labs. A nice guy very interested with arty things and colors in general. Name reminds me of my biped's fruit mix. XIII - Has met with XIII outside of the labs... he's dead. He smells alive but he's... skully. Awkward. XXX - Has met with XXX outside of the labs. Nothing special, but there's something displaced about her I can't point out clearly. Awkward again.

Bright lights from the television. Xv found it positively fascinating: how could so many stories fit into it? There were so confusing, and colors were often used to replace common sense. How could humans follow these tales? She was however trying to do it, and somehow found a link between what happened last evening between the young human students and them arguing with their teacher today. One of them threw a water balloon in class, after all. The details, she had not followed clearly. But she doesn't have the time to think more about it, Musashi came back, holding once again a bag of broken gadgets to repair for after the weekend.
XV waggles her tail and greets her human, without too much celebrations, but the feeling is here. "Had a nice day, Fifteen?", asked the girl, stroking the mane of the Layhr. As she bowed down, dropping her bag on the floor, more inquisitively, she gave a soft massage around XV's back horns. That was the sign of something new, right? "Guess what? I've spared enough for some vacation. What d'you think of meeting your other friends at the facility? I know it has been long." So much for holiday, but by "sparing", Musashi always meant "being able to live normally a few days without working". True holidays were for a time with a better job. There was worse, she could have had to work everyday for a miserable living. XV doesn't know the meaning of "holidays": taking care of herself most of the day, spending the rest of the time with her biped, she was happy, although boredom started to kick in. "We're gonna go meet other Layhrs. You may even see some you have met before." "Yep", silently thought XV, showing her enthusiasm with plain body attitude, "Gotta talk with others. Wanna know how they're all doing. I know you want to meet 'em too, right?" And she was right, Musashi had herself shown interest for the interactions between the handlers and the Layhrs. Such finely engineered animals, such different people. There was an awful lack of both at the video games store, she needed herself to see something else than the same geeks who ask for the latest FPS. XV pondered: had any handler thrown a water balloon in class before? It would be interesting to see it happen in the facility. She's going to talk about it.
