There is a castle on the hill that people fomr the village fear for there is a young man that lives in that castle and the same young man has lived in that castle for over a hundred years. His name is Kai and we'll discuss him more, later. The castle is a large one, made of inky black stone and it looms over the little German village beneath like a malevolent spirit.
Kiri has come from America to study in this town when she hears of its strange tales and goes to investigate. On her way to the castle, she falls down a cliff and is knocked unconcious and badly injured. Kai hears the sounds of someone's cries and goes to investigate. He doesn't care for people but she's hurt and nobody in the village is related to her or will even care for her so he brings her back to the castle and sets her up in a room. Kai is cursed. His curse is that once a month, he transforms into a beast much like a wolf, a hulking figure with vicious fangs and a terrible bloodlust. So he hides in his catle when he gets like this with his only companion, an equally cursed butler called Briggs but one or two villagers have witnessed this and now they fear the castle. Kai's only hope of being saved, of going to heaven, is suppossedly to get one female to fall in love with him, for he, an anti-social man with a distrust of people, to fall in love with her, and then to send her soul to hell instead of his.
