I haven't played that much of SSX. I've played Amped 2 and Amped 3 looks even more realistic. I also like the fact you can make your own "mountain" or whatever. The problem I had when I played SSX so many things were lit up and crazy looking that I didn't know what to jib and what not to jib. It turns out most of the things I thought were jibbable weren't and the ones that looked like they weren't, were.

Amped games are realistic... SSX you do like eleventy backflips and jump off your board and breakdance... and thats off the small jumps
Amped games its like a tony hawk style linking tricks with butters (manuels) and the Amped 2 style bar is freakin sweet

SSX is the best! I own tricky, on tour, and blur. Blur is really hard, but the games are amazing. SSX On Tour is one of the best games I've ever played! Realism is sketchy now and then, but if I want a realistic snowboarding experience I'd rather just strap in and go for it.
