Adrie walked up the stairs to the new building and was starting to wonder if there was new people like her there or if she was going to be the only new person.
Dougie readjusted his bass case and he stumbled up the stairs, unsure where to go. He turned to Adrie. "Hey, are you new here too? Or do you know where chemistry is?"
"No i'm new too, and i'm looking for chemistry as well." said Adrie, with a smile, "OH, hi my name is Adrieanna, or Adrie for short."
"I'm Dougie. You can call me Dougs, if you want," he said with a shrug. "So, wanna be lost together?"
"That's sounds fine to me." said Adrie with a smile on her face.
"Ach," he said, as he was shouldered by one of the jocks. "Watch where you're going, ya bloody wanker!" The jock rolled his eyes, and kept walking. Dougie smiled. Hallelujiah for unintelligible british slang.
"God I hope that everybody that goes here is like that or I might leave here even if it means killing myself for having to leave you." said Adrie, with a smile as she walked ahead of him some and turned around to look at him.
"Killing yourself cuz you're leaving me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He was pushed again. "Just because I'm short doesn't mean I'm not strong, ya ponce! Go bum your buddies in the locker room," he growled under his breath.
Adrie didn't say anything she just walked a little further ahead and half-turned and did her innocent smile. Then was suddenly pushed to the ground.
He offered a hand to help her up, and swung his fingers back and forth in a backwards peace sign to the guy who pushed her over. He then muttered something about 'Bloody fecking wanking arseholes' under his breath.
"What was that all about?" asked Adrie, taking his hand and tried to stand up.
He pulled her up. "Wha? What I said? Ah, you don't want to know. What he did? It's cuz he's an arse. Just ignore them."
"ok i'll try." said Adrie
He linked arms with her. "Well, that sign says Chem is that way, c'mon," he said, smiling, and pulling her in that direction.
"Ok lets go then." said Adrie, as she smiled at him.
As they got to the class, the bell rung, and he took a seat, with an open seat right next to it. "Take a seat, princess," he said with a grin.
"SO what i'm a princess now?" asked Adrie, as she took the seat beside him wiht a grin.
"If you want to be," he said, shrugging, and taking his notebook out of his bass case. It probably wasn't the best idea to be storing school supplies with his guitar, but he wasn't about to leave his beautiful instrument in his dorm.
