Well folks here it is NBC's triumphant return of Heroes. And what an awesome episode. The unlikely team up of Ted, Matt, and Mr Bennet. We have Claire meeting her father face to face Claire saving Peter. Good thing she died that time before. Otherwise they would of waited to long to remove that glass. Peter and Mohinder make a great Sylar a** kicking team Sylar killed Issac. Micah is taken by Linderman. Candice really is handy. And no big surprise Linderman runs the company. Man Niki is seriously going to kick major a**, she is going to be pissed.
A good episode all in all. And a great way to kick off the remaining episodes of the season.
So how did you feel about this new episode. Surprised? Disappointed? Neutral?

everythingisnumb3rs i thought it was a great episode. i'm so glad peter didnt die! it's going to be interesting to see what the future holds o_o Yup I can't wait. I was a bit worried about Peter. Then I remembered that Claire survived that time the stick drove deep into her head, and I waited and hoped someone would check and pull it out. Luckily things went that way biggrin

i wasn't worried for peter at all.. it seemed like it was something that was going to happen anyways.
i am upset that sadly, mohinder has taken the wrong side and we'll see how that happens.
in addition, i was a bit shocked that linderman has a power as well but i guess it was so be expected as well.
for the first 20 minutes of the show, i was bored. mostly because it had felt like the magic had gone out for me. luckily the rest of the show totally kicked a** and i can't wait for next week.
now to see what happens between hiro and well, hiro ^^; that should be fun to watch.
also, it was sad to see isaac die.. now sylar kinda has the upper hand with knowing what'll happen in the future..
and, i wonder what linderman has in store for micah...
i'm glad that nbc (or pretty much the show's writers) are gonna do the "what would have happened" storyline.. that way, we can kinda have the "oh, now i wonder if they will prevent the explosion" or "so, that's how it's gonna be" lines... we can safely look forward to a heroes world with or without the saving of the .07% of the people that could die.
yay. it's back. i can like mondays again ^__^

I think that Sylar's method to kill Invisible!Peter was absolutely the best idea ever. Even though I kinda felt bad... I definitely knew he was still alive though... I think it's gross that Nathan and Claire keep touching up that piece of glass though. I would have put that thing down right away. Ewww, that touched his brain. And Nathan used it to cut paper... What a strange, morbid man. Sylar's freak out about the list made me laugh really, really hard. "The list! I'll just break it more! RARRGGGHHH!" Yeah it was weird... I've never seen a paintbrush used as a weapon before. I totally don't want to touch my brushes now. D: Damn! Mohinder's method of beating Sylar rocked. But I'm confused about the papertech thing. He must have been trying to get HRG. But was it to capture people? Did he knew that HRG was in on that thing? I can't remember.

yeah.. isaac's death was kinda like "oh darn.. that's one way to kick a person when he's down.. by killing him with the one thing he loved"

Awesome episode, though I wasn't shocked about linderman having a power. I kinda guessed it after reading the war buddies comic.

I know I'm super, super late but I'm gonna throw in my pennies anyways. I was pretty disappointed, but I attribute that to having waited so long for a new episode. I loved Bennett "talking" to Matt through the walls and finally got myself excited about their part of the story, which wasn't doing it for me before. I was watching with a friend and we talked about the possibility of the glass stuck in Peter being like the stick that stuck in Claire and was glad to see it pan out that way. Captain Sharmie I think it's gross that Nathan and Claire keep touching up that piece of glass though. I would have put that thing down right away. Ewww, that touched his brain. And Nathan used it to cut paper... What a strange, morbid man. haha! This squicked me out too. I was like "Ahh, quit it, Nathan!" Sir Dice What I want to know is what the grandmas power is. I'm wondering if it has to do with dreams. I don't think they've explained that part of Peter's abilities, have they? That's my theory right now.

EDIT: Also, not to be nit-picky, but "pan" is a horizontal camera movement/rotation ("tilt" is vertical). I don't think it's the word you're looking for in this instance. Just for correctness xd hope you aren't offended by this.
A lot of things bothered me about this episode.
1- The fight was short and lameish (tight budget... but still) - Peter got stabbed in the back. Why was he not facing Sylar? - Sylar was taken out by a chalkboard/map!!! - Why didn't Mohinder finish Sylar off before he left? 2- Too predictable except for Linderman's power. - We've already seen Peter heal (falling off high school, taxi, head healing) so this was redundant - Issac already painted his death - Candace abusing power (also redundant)

PriestessSelwyn I was watching with a friend and we talked about the possibility of the glass stuck in Peter being like the stick that stuck in Claire and was glad to see it pan out that way. Here is a explanation, basically it is slang. Pan out, Informal. to turn out, esp. successfully.
So in that context, it doesn't mean what you thought socrates.

This epi that's just screened in Australia [before I saw the fast foward 5 years into the future epi]...it was a great show. Yay for Claire when she saved Uncle Peter! [felt a bit squeamish when she pulled out the glass though] and stupid Sylar killed Mr. Isaac in a very sad and painful way...at least Isaac stood up for himself to the very end.
