The Dungeons and Dragons Role Playing Guild is running a SHARED-WORLD campaign, in case the message was unclear in the multiple other places it has been posted. This means that all of the characters exist in ONE world, at roughly the same time, and can therefore move between parties as the players see fit.
This allows for the players to meet new people, role-play with everyone, and role play in a much more realistic fashion than Dungeons and Dragons normally allows.

Elaborate the question, please. Do you mean "how do we handle character levels?"? If that's it, then it's very simple: at the end of each adventure, the Dungeon Master will update the players' experience points, items, etc. If they level up, they follow the same rules as character creation: make the changes, then have a moderator OK them, and update your profile.

But what about people in multiple adventures at once, since you said that as long as there is a time gap (we should determine an appropriate minimum for that by the way) how do we take care of the experience gains from multiples. Let's say Elric's Grok'Nar joins my campaign (by the way everyone, I could use a few more people, I've got two right now and am willing to start as soon as one of them comes back online) how would we deal with his experience gained from the adventures?

We don't. I think being in different campaigns at once with the same character is a bad idea. Instead why don't we just let people have multiple characters if they want to do multiple campaigns? That way we could consider all the adventures that are currently active to be simultaneous and simplify leveling.

Again, guys, it's ONE CAMPAIGN. They can't be in two ADVENTURES at the same time because there is no way to give them experience and loot in the middle of another adventure.
Players are welcome to have multiple characters, but they must join using OTHER ACCOUNTS. This is solely for simplicity's sake.
