Inu-yasha and the gang were wandering. They stopped to sleep for the night. When they awoke there was a problem, Miroku, Shippo, and Kagome were missing. Inu-yasha and Sango could only find a few clues. All they knew was that the others had been taken by a group of demons, and that Naraku was behind it all of course.
Inu, Songo, and Kirara set out to find their friends. They ran into Naraku on the way, or did Naraku find them? Their thoughts had been assured he was behind it all. Now they knew that he had taken them prisoner with him and would give them back for the Sacred Jewel Shards, or so he says.
They set out to rescue their friends of course not giving Naraku the shards he so desired. To add on to their already huge list of problems Sesshomaru had caught word of it and came to speak to Inu-yasha. Along with the usual bad mouthing to his brother, he also informed him that he was looking for Naraku, and if he found them first, he would kill everyone there.
