Well, not my life, but my cousins.... you see, on Easter, we found out that her little sister Lilly has Leukemia, and a week later, we found out that baby brother Jack had RSV.
Jack is okay now, but Lilly is going to lose all her hair soon, and she has no idea what is happening to her. So this song is about my little cousin Ella, Lilly and Jack's older sister. Well, it's based on how she acted when we dropped off a cake for them. She hasn't killed herself, and I don't think that she will, but if she continues to act the way that she was that night, it just might happen....

You see that little girl,
Sitting in that corner,
Playing with a doll,
That don't belong to her.
She don't say a word,
Turned her back on the world.
She won't shed a tear,
Not for others at least.
But, she cries herself to sleep,
Every single night.
And she puts on that special act,
Making everything look alright.
She thinks no one cares
For her in the least.
She thinks she as well just disappear.
But these thoughts are hidden!
No one else there knows!
They don't know that she
Is truly shattered to pieces inside.
Daddy turns off the light,
and he says goodnight.
Then the silent cry that puts her to sleep,
every single night, begins again.
Mom and Dad don't know,
Little sister don't know,
Baby bro don't know,
But the really love her.
This cold, frightened life,
This thought un-loved life,
This young child's life,
It all ends here tonight!
Her pain, oh how it grows
Too much for her to handle.
She decided that night
That her life should end...
She leaves her bed,
Her room, her home.
A note on her desk
Saying :Goodbye
I'll miss you so"
Now it's all over,
This young girls life;
The family of five.
But she was happy for a while,
Up there in the clouds.
Playing with all the other boys and girls
Who's families loved them so.
Mom found the note,
In the early morning.
She burst into tears;
Her eldest daughter was gone!
That was years ago,
She regretted her choice!
Baby bro has graduated,
From elementary.
Little sis made the soccer team
For her Junior High School.
The family screams, from the sidelines,
Whenever she makes a goal.
Daddy got the promotion,
Mommy left her job,
But she's still at the graveyard,
Every single day.
Mourning the loss
Of her eldest daughters soul.
She never knew her pain,
Never, never at all
The little girl;
She watches from the clouds.
She misses them all.
She wishes she could still be there.
Little Sister misses her.
Mommy misses her.
Daddy misses her.
Baby Bro misses her.
Her old friends miss her.
Her cousins miss her.
Her Grandma misses her.
Her Grandpa misses her.
The Neighbors miss her.
We all miss her so.

She's okay now. I guess she and I we both just depressed at the time, so it came to this... but now she comes to my house once a week and I try to make it so she's not so glum, even though she has every right to be since her little sister has leukemia... what cheers her up the most though is when I write her anything... so I think I may start putting up some of the stuff I write for her.

THIS one is really good. It really hits the heart strings. I can almost hear the music in my head. The only thing I think you might want to do is really break it down into verses and chorus if you want it to be a true song. I can help you with that if you would like. Just PM me and let me know.

For only being 13 you are really good. I have read some of your other poetry and am really impressed. Don't give up on your gift. Keep writing
