This is much like Random-quote-a-rama, except it can only be one word or phrase. And unlike random-quote-a-rama, this will be updated once a day, whether Kittywitch does or not.
And of course, it can only be a short phrase. Try not to make it longer than the first word.

McChemical Romance. Alternative music or fashion which is so generic it can no longer be recognize as goth or emo, it simply is.

Twilight Syndrome: When a something becomes so popular, it's fans so vehement, and the insistence of it's worth so universal that the association with the fandom reduces an individual's opinion of the thing, particularly when the thing held little interest to begin with.

Related; "Narutism"- like Twilight Syndrome, only it implies there was anything good about the fandom in the first place.
