Well, I haven't really heard anything about Blizzard doing anything in the Starcraft world.
Are they working on something or are they just going to throw it all away?

I mentioned this in another thread. I was devestated when I heard this, but Warhammer 40k seud Blizzard for making a knock-off of their own units. Zerg = Tyranids, Terren = Spacemarines, and Protoss = A combination, but mainly Eldar.
The units too closely resembled that of Warhammer, which has been around 10 years longer, and blizzard was forced to stop any progress on any new SC. That is why Ghost never came out and SC 2 will always be left hanging and we will not know the joys of a new story line. sweatdrop
I am not 100% positive, but they may have just forced them to suspend production. If not, then SC is finished.

I like SC way more than Warhammer.
Some of my friends actually play the pen and paper Warhammer. I didn't really like it.

Gharbad Where'd you here that Babbalui? Sounds kind of farfetched... No, it's not. I heard it directly from a GamesWorkshop manager and the other employees vouched for it. That explains why ghost was cancelled and why blizzard abandoned SC brood war. They don't give a flying s**t who hacks any more. They simply make new patches, but hackers work around them, but they don't care. You can screenshot a hacker and send it to blizzard, but they won't do s**t about it. Trust me, i've tried. Plus, a ton of people on SC know about this. People keep telling me "Good luck trying to get me banned! Blizzard ditched SC a long time ago. Why do you think there is no sequal coming out?" So, others understand this as well. Why do you think they are so wrapped into Warcraft? If they could make more SC, they would have. SC used to be the #1 most played online game until they were forced to stop making new ones and turned to Warcraft to make up for their loss. PTemplar Dang... I like SC way more than Warhammer. Some of my friends actually play the pen and paper Warhammer. I didn't really like it. There's a paper game?

Alright, new news!
On youtube, you can look for Starcraft 2 and it actually has a pretty neat showing of game play with an all new race hinted in. It looks legit, but there are other, more crappy looking mods from warcraft 3. They are neat, but they are just mods that are not SC2.
I guess blizzard is allowed to make another game now. It's been long enough and they probably got the O.K. from the court and Warhammer.
Warhammer has enough players to just let it go.
That's the best explanation I can think of. Then again, there is no advertising yet, so don't count on my word.

Heh, no one updates on this thread so i might as will. Blizzard officially announced StarCraft 2 on May 19th, 2007. Btw Babbalui, StarCraft 2 is FROM Warcraft 3 Engine. So ur sayin Wc3=sucky game which equals SC2 as sucky game. Think before you speak. Research before you speak. LateralRaptor, There is no StarCraft MMORPG. Dont count on it. I was playing SC: BW and found it out by reading something in a forum about it. I have simply neglected to post new comments about the game.
