Once there was a girl walking along the beach picking up the starfish and throwing them back into the water.
A man walked up and asked what she was doing.
She said 'I'm picking up the starfish that have washed up and throwing them into the water.'
The man looked along the beach side and saw thousands of dying starfish for miles and miles and asked 'What's the point? You'll never be able to save all of them, it won't make much of a difference.'
And she looked at him and said 'Yes it will, it will make a huge difference to teh ones I do save.'
The moral of the story: We as christians can't change the whole world individually, we have to rely on Go to sort it out, and though at times it seems that we can't make enough of a difference to be significant, but it will make a huge difference to the people we do save, talk to or even listen to.
We aren't here to shove our veiws down peoples throats, we're here to plant seeds and shine for Jesus, and let God do the rest.
