So anyone else watch Shin-Chan, whatever version it may be? Adult Swim recently picked up more episodes and are currently showing them Monday-Thursday. I just started watching English subs because I can't find the new ones from AS that I missed thanks to the channel being out... The humor can be a bit crude at times, but it is funny.

My friend Alycia told me she used to watch it when she was a little girl living in Japan.
When it came on Adult Swim it was not what I expected xd
It is very funny though. The ending theme song gets stuck in my head almost daily.

The ending theme song gets stuck in my head almost daily. "Party, Party! Join us, Join us!" With the adult swim version, they went and Americanized the humor and jokes, but I do love the English subs of the Japanese version. As for the song, it's not too different from it's Japanese counterpart. I love Shin, but I love Hima too... silly little crazy baby that she is.

Oh I remember that episode! That was great. I haven't had time to watch it since they started showing the second batch of new episodes though.

Sadly ive only seen the american version BUT I LOVE IT
especially the episode when that one girl and her mom were walking by a store window and there was a bunny in it and the little girls like
" Mommy i want that bunny.."
and the moms like
" No hunny you havent even played with your new doll yet."
" but mommy that was for you , pleaase"
" No."
" but last night i heard you say NO NO NO to daddy then i heard you screM YES YES YES..."
" alright hunny we can get it..."
" YAY I DIDNT EVEN HAFTA CUT MYSELF "
at first i was like

Yes I know Shin-chan and have been watching it for a few months now.
It was indended to be a show for Japanese children if you can believe it!
Adult Swim shows the Americanized version that has been tweaked "lingistically" to aim towards older American teens/adults. In Japan there are also about a dozen Shin chan feature-length films out.
Acording to ANIMERICA Summer '08, Shin Chan season one, part 1(13 episodes) is available from FUNimation for $39.98. I'd also have to agree with the magazine, Shin chan deserved a 5 out of 5, though for it's crudely drawn characters, this show really is all about the humor mrgreen

I watch it every saturday night.Its very funny.Anyone see the episode that was kinda like star wars.It was funny.I did miss a few episodes lately.
