I have encountered a lot of threads where people bash on One Piece, saying that it sucks just because they watched the american dubbed version.
4kidsTv completely destroyed On Piece giving it a false image.
I was just wondering how many of you think of this as a good or bad story. Thanks

Unfortunately I have only seen the american version, and it was utter crap. I heard the original, uneditted one is infinitely better, and I may get around to it some day to see if it's worth my time.
4Kids has wrecked quite a few anime series. I'm glad they haven't gotten their hands on something like Hellsing, Berserk, Trigun or Escaflowne or I'd have to slap a lawsuit on them for vandalism.

Yeah, you guys have no idea. One piece's storyline it's really deep and really good. At times it's comedy, at other times it's action, also there have been quite a few times that I almost cry because of how sad it can get... Well, hopefully one day you ugys will have the chance to watch One piece.
My personal favorite!!!
Btw they did sub scaflowne... It sucked, they raped this anime out of any goodness that it might hold... Luckly I watched in spanish that they didn't cut anything out. Just like watching the Jap version smile I am sure that they will stay away from Berserk, otherwise they would just show Griffin riding a horse and that's it neutral

I have english subs of japanese Escaflowne that turned out very good.
I have a dubbed copy of berserk, but it is completely uneditted. All the plot from its japanese debut is there as well, though sadly it doesn't follow the comics 100%, it's understandable some things had to be shortened to have it fill one season.
I heard that they may release Season 2 once the series is completed, that Miura will not let it be done until his story is complete.

yeah the skullknight was not in the berserk anime and he is a key character of the manga... Or else how in the heck did Gutts got away with his life?!
Also I cannot wait to see the rest of the manga turned into anime. I want to see Gutts wearing that sweet armor, and fighting.
Gutts is the man, but lately I am liking Luffy more smile

The first time I saw One Piece, I absolutely hated it. Recently, I gave it another chance and was surprised to find that I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I am probably the only person on this planet who actually likes the 4Kids dub, and I get flamed a lot for that... *hides under flame-proof blanket*

I read all the mangas. It's a really good series. (I read the manga because I hate fillers a lot) Ooo the latest arc in the manga is crazy, and I can't wait to see what happens.
