Ok guys, lately I've been noticing that people are getting god like abilities and are to some extent; abusing them. Let me say this right now; I do not have a problem with you guys having some kind of ultimate skill or technique. But there is something you must all realise; There must be some kind of servere draw back to whatever your ultimate ability is. I came to this conclusion only after studing the majority of the jutsu that are avialable in the naruto world, I will list some examples and I will discribe thier drawbacks, and give evidence:
Abilities:
Dead Demon Consuming Seal: this is the number one most powerful jutsu in the Naruto world... bu you sacrifice your soul to use it...
-Biju: The drawback that everyone fails to realise is that The biju gradually rob you of your sanity, and if the biju is extremely powerful, your body cannot handle the stress of the high chakra levels. Here is my evidence: Garra was introduced as someone whose personality and sanity was devoured by the one tailed biju. Also once Naruto is capable of reaching the 4 tailed transformation, he looses all sence of himself and sometimes attacks friends.
-Mangekyou Sharingan sad Itachi Version) Some one must die for you to obtain it, each ot it's techniques drains a consideralbe amount of chakra, and each time you use it your eyesight decays slightly. The proof of this is in the manga... itachi is nearly blind...
Mangekyou Sharingan (Kakashi Version): Speedily consumes your chakra, can kill you if used for too long or too many times
-Rasengan Shuriken: This is by far the most powerful Rasengan ability, but it damages the user on a cellular level... meaning, everytime it is used, the user's life span is cut. My evidence is the fact that Tsunade forbids Naruto from using it, becase the damage it causes his body greatly exceeds the kyuubi's regeneration ability...
-Creation Rebirth: The ultimate medical jutsu, this works like the Rasengan shuriken, it wears out your cells and shortens your life.
-Eight Life Gates: the more gates you use, the more your body is damaged... Once th last gate is activated your muscles all sever and your heart explodes
-8 Trigrams 361 strikes: This is a jutsu that instantly kills your opponent, but it fatigues the user to the point of death...
-Choji's butterfly bullet/ using the red pill: Same as the 361 strikes
-Orochimaru's techniques require sacrifices, and ALL of them, if used, will cause your body to mutate, transforming you into a snake-like creature
-Twin Snakes Mutual Death: This ensures both yours and your opponents death
-Cursed Seals: Rob you of your sanity and your will, you become Orochimaru's slave
-Sacred Seal: Robs you of your sanity, you become obsessed with destroying evil and you go on a killing frenzy, destroying anyone even vaguely connected with evil deeds. Slowly erodes your body away, unless used alongside one of the most powerful medical ninjutsu: In'you Shoumetsu or Creation Rebirth, both of which consume a lot of the chakra the seal gives you.
-Various forms of Chidori: If the user does not possess the sharingan he gets tunnel vision, meaning you can only see your target... if your fighting multiple targets or a clone ambushes you, YOU HAVE NO WAY OF SEEING IT OR TIME TO DEFEND AGAIST IT.
-Yamanaka clan's mind/ Body switch; ineffective aginst multiple foes, leaves the ser's body open for attacks and is defenseless...
-Tajuu Kage Bushin no Jutsu: This is considered a forbidden technique, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user (EG, if you make 2 clones, your chakra is reduced to 1/3rd of what it originally was, if you make 4, you will be reduced to 1/5th of your chakra). IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BIJU, YOUR CLONES WILL BE TOO WEAK TO DO ANYTHING, OR YOU'D DRAIN SO MUCH CHAKRA YOU'D DIE... ANYONE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A BIJU SHOULDNT EXCEEDE 15 CLONES.
As you can see, each of these jutsu are extremely powerful in thier own aspect, but they all weaken or kill the user in the process. So, if your going to make up your own ultimate technique, you have to come up with a servere drawback... (I tend to either drain all my chakra or cut my lifespan) This is only to limit the amount of times you can use your ultmate skill or ability...

Naruto's four tailed transformation kills him slowly. The chakra is so wicked that it burns off his skin, making him bleed from everywhere, while the fox's chakra heals him at the same time, shortening his life span.
The rasen-shuriken doesn't kill the user, but destroys the user's arm on a cellular level, destroying chakra lines and making them unable to mold chakra through that arm, therefore making them useless.
The Mange-Sharingan deteriorates the Retina of the eye, making the user blind over time. ((Haha, stupid Itachi...and Kakashi... sweatdrop ))

The only reason that was said is because someone made a mistake. Gaara's Bujuu ate away at his sanity whenever he went to sleep, only because it was the way the Bujuu was sealed, it also explains his insomnia. The 4th Kazekage did not use the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, therefore it's different than Naruto's. Naruto has control over the Kyuubi, so to speak. He can sleep without going crazy, and he can call upon the chakra of the fox because of the way the seal was made. The only reason why Naruto is able to use the Taijuu Kage Bushin is because of his massive chakra tanks. And not only that, the Fox's chakra and his are slowly blending together, giving Naruto an endless chakra supply. The only Reason why Naruto goes into the four-tailed form is because he slightly weakened the seal, most likely to gain more control of the fox's chakra. It was too much, and he doesn't know how to seal it up agian. It's completely logical.

((I wasnt talking about that... in the manga, Naruto transformed into the kyuubi and attacked sakura and nearly killed her, he wast concious at the time and was unaware of the happening. because of his seal weakening, the Kyuubi can take controll from time to time... AND the Mass shadow clones ability definition it says that the only reason naruto can use it is because of the kyuubi... If you wanted to ge techncal about the chakra blending, it's because of the seals placed on him by the 4th and jiraya... but since the seals are weakening his body if being overflooded with chakra, hence his slow death, and the occasional possessions 3nodding ))

I wasnt going to go into detail about each technique, i was just going to give generic reasons...))

Great idea, i'll be adding to it for sure. So far, the most obvious thing missing is with the cursed seal, another effect is that not only do you lose your will, you become Orochimaru's slave, according to the information i've read up, it eventually destroys your mind to the point where you are no more sentient than those things that Tayuya summons (cant remember what they're called) sweatdrop

They're called Oni...basically...
And I'm not sure the seals make you slaves to orochimaru per se....but perhaps the pain it causes and the power it brings coaxes people to seek Orochimnaru for help....once they do that, they usually get caught up in "repaying their savior" so to speak...just like Kin, Dosu, and Zaku...though they didn't have seals, bu you get the idea.

Updated and added a few things. As for cursed seal: information Once in place the seal will grant the wearer the ability to access their real power. By releasing chakra, the seal becomes active and begins to forcibly pull out even more chakra. When the wearer releases the cursed seal to activate the extra chakra, they will lose their free will permanently over time, transforming the user into Orochimaru's slave.

This disproves what you were saying and strengthens my statement)) Though it has nothing to do with Naruto sleeping...like you said. stare NAruto has control up to Three tails, knowing who and how to attack. Oh course, that only happens to Naruto, because of his own disabilities of not being able to control the who Kyuubi, because it is so powerful. Things like the Shukaku and Nibi, where they have less then four tails, the users can control the whole thing. It is also based on how long you've had it under control and how old you are, via Wisdom. @Tai- Dont tell me what to do, I know what I'm talking about.

Kakashi's version of the Mange-sharingan only drains Kakashi that quickly because he is not a Uchiha. His body cant take the strain that the Sharingan puts on his body, because he has no Uchiha blood. The only reason why Kakashi's Mange-sharingan is different is because he is not an Uchiha.

Now that is were you are wrong Malice....If you looked at the Sharingan abilities, there is two verisons of the Mangekyou Sharingan. kakashi gotten his because he felt sorry for himself since Obito sacrficed himself for kakashi and Itachi's is different because he have killed his best friend. So if you kill your best friend, You get Itachi's cursed mangekyou sharingan and if you feel sorry for that your friend have died for your sakes, then you get the Good verison of the Mangekyou Sharingan...
