come on guys, has that RP died? that was my favorite of all of them gonk so many fun pairings and plot-thingies.... like Keir and Amaya being siblings and Amaya not remembering... but Shirin knows, and so do a good amount of their village, but none of them are willing to tell Amaya because they've come to love her as their own and don't want to lose her if they jog her memories... oh well, i just hope more people join it soon and it can get going again, i miss it...

I've just been so busy that all my posting got backed up. >_< But it shall live!
I have to do the intro for my new naga as well, Aeron. Alex and I have already decided to pair him and Xiomara together, even though Aeron hasn't officially come into the roleplay yet. Xiomara and some free-lance assassin... Do you see the possibilities? XD

ive made several pairings among my own characters so i dont need to worry about other roleplayers posting frequency... Raj and Hauke are my only pairing that i actually like as much as a pairing from an anime series, the other pairings im just kinda like "eh... theyre there...." XD but yay, it shall live again!! heart

exactly, RPing with yourself is boring cuz you might as well write a story which is why i usually only post as them while posting other things, too, so that im not just writing random crap. besides, eventually im going to wind up forcing one of my future-couple characters to meet a character of yours or kris's...

Beside the obvious pairing (king and queen), the only character who seems to be getting with someone any time soon is Aeron. I doubt Odin will have a love interest, seeing as he's only fourteen and the three people he interacts with are his teacher (who's an old man, so he probably won't be getting a girlfriend either), Praxis and Keir. Now Praxis... I think is a bit too domineering for him, though she doesn't seem to be with anyone yet herself.

i think it would be interesting if keir developed a crush on praxis... she'd probably reject him, because they really do clash, but whatever... it's amusing watching them argue, if they got together it wouldnt be the same, so it'd be a good thing praxis would reject him, actually... and yeah i dont think odin is about to get with anyone... especially because the only 3 people he interacts with are teacher, praxis, and keir... and all of those options are a bit... off o.O

I think that would work out if Keir and Praxis were to develop feelings for each other. They clash, but it's only because they're so similar, right? And when Praxis reveales her past... the two turn out to have a lot more in common than they thought. I'd hate to have them stop bickering too, because it's so amusing - but a lot of couples have arguments quite like their's. They could just turn out like InuYasha and Kagome, except they'd really get together and solve everything by the time the "series" ended.
I'm now very inspired to finish that post~

i agree XD its funny, i dont consider myself as controlling my characters... after i give them a personality, i write what i think they would do, not what i want to happen lol so i have a feeling keir will wind up in lovewith praxis but being too dumb to notice it until praxis notices first and asks him or something XD but yeah, their arguements ARE rather amusing... even IF they got together, you know they would still argue because youre right-- they clash because theyre so similar.

And you know the really amusing part is, Praxis probably wouldn't notice it either. XD She'd sense a change in Keir's actions without knowing why, and Keir would probably sense a change in Praxis' feelings toward him because he's an empath, though her emotions wouldn't be clear enough even to her for him to know 'that's love'. Yep, I think we'd have to leave it up to Odin to tell them; he reads minds and seems to be the least stubborn out of all three. I can just see him giving up with the subtleties and just shout "You guys are in love, just notice already!" XD Or if one of them was thinking "I wonder if this could be love" he'd just answer them aloud and say yes. But that's Odin for you - he's so blunt, you got to love him.
Just wait until Praxis' past comes out, it so sad... I'm still planning it out, actually. XP

if she says her past aloud, as in she tells keir (and odin if he happens to be there at the time) then he'll probably fall for her shortly afterward... but wow, that would be so funny if Odin said something like "are you both doing this on purpose? can't you just admit it to each other already?" and theyd probably stare like "are we supposed to know what youre talking about?" -_- our poor, poor, oblivious characters...
judging keir's personality, while there is a strong chance he'll wind up falling for her, there's also a chance he'll just come to see her as a sibling or really close comrade and he'll love her, but itll be platonic. i really dont know... see what i mean by the characters decide what to do? XD as a writer, i just say "ok, youre like this" and then the story unfolds because they are as such... did that make any sense?

I think most of the romance in this roleplay is between my own characters - but me and Kris' nagini/naga thing is going on... and I have a couple other single ones, so something might happen...
Me and Kristen tend to decide THAT they will be together before the RP starts - but we never decide how it will happen. It varies, but in half of my roleplays, my girls are extraordinarily flirtatious - so it works pretty easily. In the ones where the girl (which I am playing) are stoic, it tends to go down that they fall for each other because of their fighting techniques (who knows why) or because of their other skills. As for when I actually have a guy - normally she is playing a girl who LIKES assassins/murderers/psychopaths/etc. naturally... and I am playing an assassin, or murderer, or pyschopath, or something similar to, or a combination of, those three... Of course - potentially I can see something happening between two guy characters of ours in a roleplay you do not know... where it is likely my guy is the kinda guy like Kris' girls, and her guy is an a/m/p/etc.

Yeah, Praxis' past will explain why she has no real family to speak of... Something about her parents and younger brother being turned into nagas, and her somehow escaping... I don't know, I'm trying to find a good excuse for her brother (who's like, thirteen now) to have become a naga at such a young age, but that she wouldn't have. I thought of the possibility that her parents just had the brother after they were exhiled, but then I can't really think of any good reason for Praxis to know of him. This is one of the reasons why she puts up with Keir, because she does know what it's like to lose a sibling but know they're out there somewhere, although the money does play a big part in her decision as well. ^^;
That makes total sense, it's just staying in character. Alex and I normally decide ahead of time that we want a certain type of character, and that we want our two to end up together, so we plan their personalities in a way that would make them fall for the other one. Although, in our case, we tend to create very similar characters anyway. And yes, in one of the guild's newer roleplays, she made an assassin, and I made a princess who likes assassins. But you know, that's the way my female characters tend to work, or they could just be an assassin themselves like Praxis. Alex does usually play the girls, mostly because I come up with guy characters more easily, and I'm still kind of new at roleplaying yaoi. I think our first pairing was Kane and Anko, who did the whole "falling for each other's intelligence/battle techniques" sort of thing, and I want to roleplay them again.
I know which roleplay you're talking about! Kazuo/Banrai shall, and already has with your first post, become canon. And I think I'll make my Mist Village Swordsmen get with your girl who likes Mist Village Swordsmen. ^_^ See how nicely that works out? You know, I'm sure the one other person roleplaying with us won't mind mild yaoi; in fact, I think she likes SasoDei. Oh, and Alex, I don't know if you've read all of our posts up until now, but the two of us were talking about how you and I pair our characters up, and that our characters would be incompatible for the most part. They work very well as a team, but in a pairing... We got Katsu/Sensei. XD Actually, they have a Keir/Praxis relationship going on right now... Wow, interesting how we went so off-topic and then got back on to Keir/Praxis.

yeah, but whatever XD just, uh... try not to make us deviate from topic, yeah, alex? sweatdrop
but kris, i get what youre saying abuot praxis... keir is a bit of a cold-hearted jerk, so he probably wont feel anything when she tells him her past except "damn... that's pretty sad...." and just leave it at that because thats just how he is. and yeah, one reason i tend to pair my OWN characters is so that i dont have to worry about needing to count on the other person for it to work (which is why all my characters in this RP get paired with another =D at least i think all of them do...) so... yeah ^_^ alex, i dont think there IS much romance between your own characters, at least not in this RP o.O did i miss something? *counts up own pairings* i have at least 3, 4 is keir gets with praxis but that doesnt count cuz i mean with my OWN characters... ... ...wow, that IS all of them surprised oops?
