Staying with him was a very good thing. Her once scrawny and malnourished body was beginning to fill out. Her diet of fish and small game seemed to enhance her senses as well as her spirits and her coat become glossy and shiny. A sure sign that all was right in the world. Her beauty was returning and she was beginning to get better. There was only one thing that reminded unspoken. She'd been in this family pack for many moons now, and while that in itself was a great cry from her wondering spirit. It still didn't quell the inner feeling she had inside. She was lonely, maybe more here then she had ever been before.
But, she shouldn't be. There were plenty of wolves to talk to and experience life with. But it wasn't the same. No, no matter who she met or who she shared experiences with it just wasn't the same. Not in a long shot.
The only problem was finding out WHY she was feeling this way.
