Class Description: History of Magic is definitely not one of the most popular classes at Lovage. The class is often considered very boring, consisting of mainly boring lectures about various aspects of magical history.

Class Description: Potions class is located in the dark, cold dungeons of Lovage. Students memorize various ingredients and compositions of certain potions and prepare them.
TransfigurationTeacher: Professor Conversion
Textbook: A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, Intermediate Transfiguration, Advanced Transfiguration.
Class Description: Transfiguration is a very complex branch of magic, in which many Lovage students struggle in. This class includes interesting lectures and allowing students to have a practical session.

Class Description: Students in this class practice interpreting and translating the magical significance of ancient runes.
ArithmancyTeacher: Professor Allison
Textbook: Numerology and Grammatical
Class Description: Very few Hogwarts students take this complicated course. Those who take arithmancy consider themselves intelligent, and are willing to learn and take on the challenge of this complex study. Some of the work includes studying the magical art of numbers and equations, and very complicated number charts.

Class Description: This class meets at midnight on top of the Astronomy tower, the tallest tower at Hogwarts. Some of the work includes essays that involve learning numerous facts about astronomy, filling in star charts, etc.

Class Description: Care of Magical creatures involves the feeding, handling, and controlling of different magical creatures.
DivinationTeachers: Professor Drakenus
Textbook: Unfogging the Future
Class Description: A class of 'Seeing the future' which many consider to be absolute rubbish. Divination is much more useful for predicting major changes and important events than simple every day events.
Muggle StudiesTeacher: Professor Smith
Textbook: Home Life and Social Habits of British Muggles
Class Description: This class studies the lifestyle and habits of Muggles. Students learn about Muggle technology, such as the importance of electricity in the Muggle world, along with important historical events.
