SUNSHINE BRINGERS
This is the most common type of ted. They are warm and comforting, giving security on dark nights for small children, consoling those who are sad or lonely, easing the discomfort of those who are sick or injured, always kind, gentle companions. They are not very lively, but they don't need to be.
JESTERS
These teds are similar to the Sunshine Bringers, and may do many of the same good deeds, but they are more energetic, silly and fun. They add clowning, jokes and may use props such as flowers and balloons in their business of spreading good cheer. The Jesters are more likely to wear costumes than the Sunshine Bringers.
HELPFUL FRIENDS
These teds like to get out and do a bit of work, lending a paw wherever their friends need them. They're usually full of energy, bustling about helping with chores.
BRAVE GUARDIANS
These teds are more in the line of being Protectors. Keeping the Monsters Under the Bed or In the Closet at bay, they stand vigil every night over their child's bed as he or she sleeps. they tend to be more serious, but are always kind and loyal.
HEROES
This is a class of ted that is not very commonly found. Hero teds are active combatants against the forces of evil. They may be any of the following...
*Superheroes
*Secret Agents
*Super-Scientists
*Adventurers
*Detectives
*Martial Artists
*Ninjas (but NOT assassins--see Weapons Information)
*Knights
*Paladins
*Magicians
....and still more! There are all sorts of possibilities!
They may have a Secret Identity, appearing to be one of the more sedate types of ted ordinarily. Their personality types are as diverse as their callings. Hero teds are brave, good, and extremely energetic.
MONSTER HUNTERS
These are the rarest type of ted of all. The Monster Hunters are teds who have lost loved ones or had them become terribly hurt by the the Monsters--usually children--and decide they cannot stand to remain idle. They begin hunting the Monster that inflicted harm upon their loved one. These Monsters are of a more powerful and terrible sort than the ones that are In the Closet or Under the Bed. They are known by humans as such things as "SIDS", "Child Abuse", "Drunk Drivers", and more, in a terrible, vast list...but teds know they are Monsters that must be eradicated. Monster Hunters often go on Quests to hunt their foe or foes.
Monster Hunters are often very much like Heroes or Brave Guardians in calling. They are also very energetic as these other types are...but they tend to be much more serious, even somber at times.
**In real life, to be a Monster Hunter you must support a charity for the elimination of a "Monster" each year in some way.
If you do so in the memory if a lost loved one, they will be remembered in the Shrine of Sorrowful Memory, which is in the Memorial Gardens.**
