That gym was very easy thanks to my Ponyta.
1) Go to gamefaqs.
2) Use the Pokémon Diamond/Pearl guides
3) STOP BUGGING US WITH STUFF THAT YOU CAN FIND THERE IN 2 SECONDS!!!!!

Same I got to Sunyshore city and this person from the E4 talked and said the gym leader wants a great battle, it turns out he is not there.
Have you gone through Mt.Coronet?You have to go to Heartthrome city and go through Mt Cor. that way.Then you will reach were the 3 bosses you see the pokemon they talk then you are about to battle the 2 bosses when Tommy(or you ever you name him) comes and battles with you.Then he restores your pokemon and you battle the last boss if you win Dawn and the Pro.(no time to spell that out) wll come and talk and you battle it and if you got the Master ball form Team Glatics HQ then r beat it up til yellow and hopefully red throw the master abd catch it. My tip is to save right before you battle the pokemon so if you faint it you can turn it off and battle it again intil you catch.

Or just throw the master ball straight away at the Dialga/Palkia.
