I've only seen Death Note 1, but I'm going to watch "The last name" next weekend. Then I'll tell you ;3
A friend of mine has aleready seen it and said the english subtitles were good.

I saw it like a month ago.
It was really good, but still really sad.
The subtitles were fine, not to engrish-ful.

I saw both movies and own both movies. I think they're both good.....if you havn't read the manga. Bcause I sat there through both movies yelling at my TV because things were so DIFFRENT. They're good, if you don't compare them to the manga/anime.
^-^ And they're good just because L is so cute! And Light is too!!! I just wanted to hug them both!

It was really good, but still really sad.
The subtitles were fine, not to engrish-ful. please tell me the subtitles stay long enough for you to read it, not flashing away with three lines of text that never comes back and if you hadn't read the books, you'd have no i dea what was going on. Because that's what the first movie does...and it makes me sad crying

I haven't seen it.
I got about half way through Death Note 1 and then got pulled off the computer, but I haven't really bothered to watch the rest.
It didn't really impress me that much so I haven't really felt the need. D:
Although L is adorable/hawt. xD

I ordered it with english subtitles so it's currently istting in my room along with the first one.
I like the ending more then the Manga's ending >>
