I am so full of discussion today! What has come over me?

I go out...
..I spy a sweetie machine...
.I like sweets.
So by simply placing a twenty-pence-piece in the slot and twisting the handle, I expect a small handfull of sweets to scrape out of the little bucket they fall into.
I do this..expecting the usual...and recieve a total of 3 penny-sweets.
I do this the following week...and recieve nothing.
I try this once more a month later expecting it to be fixed and work better...and get my coin lodged in the machine.
Gosh..I know they're a rip off anyway..but look at they're persuasive glass bubble filled to the top with multi-coloured candy or sweet creamy chocolate. It teases me..it is the devil himself.
You could bet that back in 'the crucible age' or partisan era that they would be crying the work of the devil upon the machine..for the temptation of spending all your loose change in such a forfilling manner is only resulting in getting dashed with sin.
Is this witch-craft? I think so.
Oh, and here is one more thing that gets onto my nerves oh-so very often!
MARS BARS! Since when have they only been that small?!?! The same with CREME EGGS - they never used to be that small...or expensive.
There. I hope I made your hungry.

I know exactly what you mean! Oh, my god, I hate it when you buy a packet of sweets and it's only half full! I mean, why do that?!?! It's just using up more plastic, it's so annoying! Crisp packets are usually less then half full too, it's so grrr...
I think you're right, mars bars and stuff are getting smaller so there's either the tiny one or the Giant King Size Heart Attack In Chocolate Mars bar. It's actually rediculous!
Hah, I saw machines like that in Brighton that were "Pound for a Pouch", hahahXD Y'know, I think those sweety machines are just conspiring against you. It's all part of a plan... it's all a conspiracy >.> <.<

I've gotten my fair share of coins getting stuck in vending machines. XD Therefore, I've significantly reduced using them--I don't even like most chocolate bars they sell in vending machines now anyway, and they're ridiculously expensive for a single packet of candy.

At the mall near my dad's house, there are these wonderfull gum machines. It's this huge pyramid of 30 different kinds of bubble gum! It's taller than most people. Fabulous.
...But I got braces the year after my dad moved there.
The gum pyramids tempt me to spend 25cents on pinacolada flavored gum, but I can't have it. ALL because of my dumb orthadontia! DAMMIT!!!
....And I can't attempt to blow those great double bubble things. I wish I knew how to do that....It's so....useless and... awesome!!

I went bowling today, and guess what? I saw a 20p machine! So I put in my money and twisted the dial. And guess what I got? FIVE cadburys mini eggs. That's 4p per little lump of chocolate. gonk

I read an essay once and it talked about food packaging. It was funny because it talked about a potato chip company pumps air into the bags to make it look like there is more in there then there really is. They actually spend more money doing that than on the chips themselves. Funny huh? I was giving a friend a ride home today and we stopped at a drug store and bought some snacks I bought a bag of pretzels and some lemonade. She bought some cookies and a water. So on the way home she asked for a pretzel so I handed her the bag and it was like half empty when I had only taken three or four so I'm thinking "Oh, god she probably thinks I'm pigging out on pretzels!" I was pretty embarrassed. I don't think the devil inhabits vending machines but the people who make the stuff that goes into the machines.

There are 10 dimes in 1 dollar 1 dime is worth 10 cents. There are 4 quarters in 1 dollar 1 quarter is worth 25 cents. So, if you haven't figured it out by now 1 dollar is worth 100 cents. Then there are 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 1,000 dollar bills.
