hmmmmm the amber series by roger zelazny jsut about know one knows of it but its a very good series ^_^ ( or at lest no one I know knows what it is) ....................................................................................................................................lost train of thought

Oh wow. It's been ages since I read the Chronicles of Amber. Excellent series, even if it did start off incredibly slow for the first 75 pages or so. It really picked up my interest about half way through the first book.

...how does it start off slow if a guy wakes up and then he suddenly attacking someone? also FINALLY!!!! not alot of people know of it

To me the overall feel of the start seemed slow. That's not to say it wasn't interesting. The whole cocept of walking shadows was rather wicked.
It just took a while for plot points to get moving.
It's a rare series to find now, which is unfortunate. Not many people hav eever heard of it. My other all the books as well as the 'guide to caastle amber' complete with schematics of the true castle.
