So... I just finished vol. 10 (ch.87-97) and was thinking..
But first, did anyone else read the little extra "behind-the-scenes" pages (in the back of the volume, I don't know what it's called. @.@") about Hoshino-sensei's family (life?)? 6 6
Because the way, Hoshino-sensei draws the family members, it seems like he's a guy, and Linali might have been based on his older sister..? @.@

For anyone who's curious~ http://www.sendspace.com/file/z7v839
It's actually in Chinese. ^ ^" But on the first page, second panel, it's (big)sister--sensei--(little)brother. 6 6
Haha.. I'm just re-reading some of it. It actually wasn't drawn by Hoshino-sensei but a.. Someone A.. some random artist.. who heard about this story from Hoshino-sensei. (His) big sister is also (his) twin and (his) little brother is many years younger.. When the siblings have nothing to do, they spend time just beating up Hoshino-sensei. (His) mom saw that (he) never took any action back at them so she randomly went up to (him) and told (him) to hit her. @.@ Mm.. I think the rest can be guessed. XD;;

Hoshino-San does refer to him or herself as 'Ore', the male personal pronoun in Japanese, but some girls do use this sometimes. I like to think that Hoshino-san is a girl, as she/he draws girls so well, and has an air of feminity in her/his drawings, but the style is very shonen overall.
