'Ello! So it's morning time again, and with my first ten or so minutes before I have to jump on the school bus, I like to get on Gaia and surf around, check messages, all that jazz. And drink coffee. So I figured I'd ask:
What gets you started in the morning? Coffee? Tea? Water? A shower? Teeth brushing? RAINBOWS? ;DD

Orchestra is only offered as a class before school, so I have to get up extra early to get there on time. (I'm usually the first string player there anyways.)
My alarm is annoying enough to perk me up for a few minutes. Usually the running around and getting ready wakes me. I'm a morning person anyways. After lunch is when I usually start feeling drowsy, and if I go to bed too late, I'll be wandering around like a zombie all day. Early to bed and early to rise: that's me! (So, I'm usually in bed by ten or ten thirty. It's early when you compare it to when some of my friends go to bed. I like my sleep.)

I enjoy my sleep too. D:!! I tend to get to bed sometime between 10:30-11pm, and I usually have to wake around 6:20am, but it's really not that bad. Mornings are alright for me. I always end up napping in the afternoon or passing out around lunch time. (Like today! We began reading The Great Gatsby and I just kept feeling like I'd fall over. .__.;; )

We've just finished the Great Gatsby! English is one of my favorite subjects, but it's my last class of the day. So sometimes I'm really tired during it or I've wasted my entire attention span during my other classes. The only class I've really ever dozed off in is Chemistry. I don't mean to. I'll be taking notes, then my eyelids will grow heavy, I'll blink, then a minute later I'll jerk awake. I've only done it once or twice though.

What gets me started in the morning... yeah, I'd have to say it's chilling in the school library, drinking tea and chatting with my friends. We meet there every homeroom, and it's really relaxing to just sip some tea and chat about different books and what our night was like. Either that, or we check out whatever Mrs. Walko, the librarian, is doing on her computer.
(Mrs. Walko's awesome to talk to, as well. She has this soft, wispy, innocuous voice, very innocent and spacey-sounding, but behind all that she's got this disestablishmentarian streak. She puts up posters about questioning those in power all around the library. And she's always unearthing new government conspiracies on Democratic Underground. ^^ When I grow up, I want to be just like her.)

I would daydream for a while every morning. I'm not really a morning person, so...
I do take full advantage of noon and midnight, though.

Good Morning is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a Good Morning unless it starts out with sleep, sex (ONLY IF YOU'RE LEGAL XP), or sunlight....
Yeah, sorry, had to say it ^^;
I have Band first Macro/hour, so I wake up to Trumpets playing No One Mourns The Wicked horribly everyday... I think I'd rather sleep...

Delnia Good Morning is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a Good Morning unless it starts out with sleep, sex (ONLY IF YOU'RE LEGAL XP), or sunlight.... But doesn't nearly every morning start out with sunlight? o_O

Ugh, I hate the morning. No, let me correct myself. I only hate mornings when I have to wake up by alarm clock and go somewhere. I don't even like the sound of birds chirping. It's just annoying. The only way I even begin to function after my 6 AM wake-up time is a large flagon of coffee or majorly caffeinated tea. And breakfast. I need fuel. Even so, I take about an hour to get all done when it's that early. I move in slow motion.

In the mornings I just stumble around like an idiot. I've run into too many things that my feet shouldn't even be functioning correctly.
But I'm not much of a morning person... I'm still tired from this weekend...
