This card exceeds the usual 40 cards because of it's strategy. Most of the deck's four star monster have card effects that pull cards out of the deck. Trial runs with a smaller version of this deck resulted in my running out of cards, so I decided to stick with the slightly larger version.

Hmm... I don't really play in anything official, and my group I play in doesn't use the banned list, but obeys limited and semi-limited.

Monarchs... good idea. I haven't bought new packs for some time is the thing, so I bet there are a ton of useful cards out there I don't even know about. I don't get to play the real cards that often, this is a deck I built in the DS in "Nightmare Torubador". I'm currently gathering up the cards I need to build it in World Championship 2007. Thanks for your input.
