Well, I--for one--love eating! And I also like cooking 3nodding So, for those who like both, I've started this thread! Most of these recipes I found online and altered in my own making 3nodding Feel free to post others also! As I get new categories of food, I'll add them, but for now it looks kinda silly having a bunch of categories with nothing in them.

Edit: Since we now have a whole subforum for recipes, I'll just include their names and a link to the thread where they're posted! whee

My Ostara Muffins

Well, to start things off, I took the "Maiden Wakes Muffins" in the Guild Newsletter Edition 2 and made some adjustments and baked them for Ostara whee

I made a batch of half Red Wine/Almond muffins and half Honey Nut Peanut muffins, so that's why this recipe might look weird.

Ingredients:
3 cups wheat flour
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
3 cup almonds, sliced OR 3 cups honey roasted peanuts
2 tsp. baking soda
5 eggs
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup vegetable oil
3tsp.vanilla
1/2 cup red wine

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large non-metal bowl, mix flour, soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in almonds or peanuts. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, oil, wine, and vanilla until well blended. Stir egg mixture in to the flour mixture until just wet. Grease muffin pan with a little butter or use cupcake/muffin cups. Divide the batter into the cups and bake for 20-22 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan. Makes 12 servings.
