I hope this isn't off-topic or anything gonk
Was just wondering what "ghosting" an item is, and how people are able to do it. I've heard about it only slightly...

Its when you do this.
Lets say... You want your avatar to look like you are wearing a halo.
Your friend has a halo. He trades it to you, you equip it, then select, "Delete Avatar."
With your avatar deleted, no items are equipped to you, so, you can trade the halo back. But, now that its deleted, its still the same image as before you deleted it, so it looks like you're wearing items that you really arn't.
