Kobu walked towards the entrance of the lair but was repelled by a barrier protecting the area. "Ah so I see even though the original members have perished they have left there defenses here, too bad..... they really had no imagination." Kobu sat upon the ground and took out a notebook and quickly jotted down a small formula to increase his chances of finding the hidden tags. After twenty minutes Kobu was finished and proceeded to disarm the tags but as he did that the secondary defense showed itself. An exact clone of Kobu appeared before him and attacked full force. "You may be a clone of me but you can't do this....." Kobu quickly avoided the attack by ducking and then waited for the clone to perform the "Flying thundergod technique" which would have been his next move if it were actually him. Having anticipated the attack Kobu then once again avoided the attack and slammed his kunai into the clones face with a powerful thrust. "well that was easy enough..... now to investigate, Kobu walked into the base but not before adding his own touch to the last trap. As Kobu investigated the cave he found the Leaders old plans and notes about each demon they had faced and how to extract said demons. "This is too easy.... I can't believe that the extraction was so easy to do.... I could do this whole process alone in half the time they did." Kobu smiled as he found the room of the sealing statue, the great structure still holding up against time, upon further examination Kobu noticed something. The discovery was that one of the statues eyes still glowed with power.

A large quake shook the cave and it began to collapse. Kobu quickly escaped from the cave and was immediatly hit with the presence of a large amount of chakra coming from the village of Leaf. "Oh no it has already begun." whispered Kobu as he ran in it's direction.
