What do you mean? Do you mean the new cardface on the timeshifted cards in Future Sight?

They're more functional, but I don't like them as much.
The mana cost is much harder to read from a distance.

I agree. At the prerelease I was leaning over the table and squinting like some kind of old man to read the mana cost on someone else's card. Never mind why I needed to know the cost. I can't remember why.

I'm not sure where I read it, but someone described it as the ultimate cover-your-a** move. If people don't like it, wizards can just say that they were timeshifted cards only and not meant to be the new cardface.

If people love it, they can claim that that's what they've had planned all along.

Companies do that all the time. They test the waters first to see whether or not they should go all the way.

Personally I like the new look, but I agree that the mana cost is much harder to read. The first time I saw one it took me a while to find it, let alone read it...

The mana cost will be a major pain to me, as I hold my hand vertically so I can see entire card names and mana costs at the same time. I prefer them in the top right corner, where they've been for over a decade.

Also, I find the new frame too sci fi like. Nothing fantasy like to it at all. Not that the current ones hold a fantasy feel to them either. But I was against the current framework too heheh.

While it's a cool look for a theme, I hope they don't keep it.

I have to agree with Zeddicuus. I think its too clean and translucent. All the older designs looked like they were part of the color they represented. They mentioned on magicthegathering.com that one of the purposes for the new design is to let players see the costs of their cards(or arrange them by that) without using both hands to unfurl them. They appologized to left-handed players, since it would typically only work for a right handed player, but I hold my cards that way anyway!
