Well, I'll just keep my art in one thread, and just add updates as I find something or do a new piece. For starters... here is a drawing I'm working on. Or did work on until I misplaced it and just recently found it again.  and here is one of my paintings I enjoy...

That is utterly awesome. D : At least, I love the second one. The foreshortening is great, and so is the painting on the face around the eyes and nose. The guitar just pulls you into the image, her arm draws you to her face, and you're caught.
What kinds of paints and canvas to you use?

I use acrylics. I don't have them with me ATM... but they are the oh... 7 bucks a pop little 2 oz tubes? the canvas is the cheap ones you can buy at Michaels.

Thanks for watching my DA. Someday hopefully I'll have enough on there for it to be worth-while. :p This I did a few weeks back just goofing off. Right now I'm working on a dress up game... where you get to drag the clothes to the character. I'll keep updating, http://www.simpleimperfections.net/images/art/dress-up.swf with the Dress Up Game. If you have any suggestions for it in the future, please share. Mind, I'm not very good at flash, just now getting back into it.

Yeah, I have pants in the works. I'm trying to decide what I want to do for the head... like just how cartoony it should be. Etc etc... if the hair will be changeable, the eyes etc.

Yeah, it isn't to difficult... just gotta do the action scripts. Heh. The hardest part is making the images with a mouse. Oh my gosh I need to pay off my credit cards so I can go buy myself a nice Waccom Tablet.

Well, it sure sounds hard! I can imagine using a mouse would be tough. I'm so glad I have my tablet. D : Have you tried using the pen tool? That's really nifty if you don't have a tablet. Heck, I use it with my tablet because it makes such great lines.

Yes, the pen tool is nice. It's a lot easier to make rounded edges etc. it still just takes forever. I have a tablet laptop but I dunno, I'm just lazy. I like my new desktop so it's what I use. I'm hoping to get a Waccom in like... August. I should have money enough by then.
If you ever want to make a dress up game and need help, just ask.

That's neat! I love how abstract it is, and yet it has so much movement already! To me, it really does look alive.
