Danzo sat quietly near a pond, with fog rising over its water. He was staring into it, not to see his reflection, but it gave him a peace of mind when he wanted to think. Not that he could see anything in the water anyway. It was a murky green-blue color and the thick fog covered everything like a blanket.
He continued sitting there, his ball-like tail still for once. Danzo remained perfectly still, though he'd twitch at the slightest noise. Thinking required great effort, and it wouldn't be nessecary to waste energy by moving around.

Danger. Destruction. Thona walked quickly and quietly. He could smell the pound near by, and a possible pray. Well, he thought it might be pray. Didn't smell like an adult Ulaya, and he hadn't smelled a baby one before. He crept up, now walking much like a cat would right before it stopped to pounce on some helpless creature.
Still not seeing what it was he was about to snag, but he could smell the general area it was in. He wiggled his butt, though his tail seemed to stay still. Finally, he couldn't wait anymore. He jumped out from the grass he had been hiding from. Leaping in the air he finally saw what he had smelled.
With much confusion, he found himself landing in the pond instead of on the other. Seeing how it was his own kind, he wouldn't eat it, but rather toy with the young guy.
He popped up from the water. Dripping from his face, ears, and body as he stood up in the shallow waters. He grinned quite evilly, though he still had a slight confusion on his face.

Danzo was surprised greatly by the sudden pounce of a leopard Ulaya, and tottered into the pond himself. His tail kept him afloat, but he didn't poke his head up from the water yet. The falling into the pond dazed him, as did the almost-attack from the adult. When his chest felt like it was going to burst, Danzo lifted his head out and took in deep breaths.
Without hesitation, the little pup climbed out of the pond and shook himself dry, much like a dog. After his fur was just a little damp, he looked up into the eyes of a vicious hunter. The Ulaya's air made him shiver slightly, but that didn't stop Danzo from becoming upset with him.

Finally, Thona realized what the other creature was. He grinned. Oh what fun this would be. He slowly got out of the pound and looked at the small creature. "Your lucky, you know." He said very cruelly. His tail twitched only slightly. His ears forward, and his eyes blazing with torture.
Well, not too much torture. This here was a kid after all. Though, it didn't mean Thona couldn't have a little fun. He grinned even more as he took a step closer. One of his paws showed his claws as they dug into the earth.

"Lucky? Lucky that I fell into the pond because of you?" Danzo blurted out, his voice quivering slightly. Not only did his aura become more cold and chilly, his paw suddenly sprouted claws. From what he could tell, the Ulaya was planning to kill him. On his second thought though, he wouldn't have missed him when he pounced if he really was. Or maybe this Ulaya was a bad hunter.
"What's your name?" The kit asked, trying to break the icy air and be brave. Danzo's ears twitched nerviously, as did his tail.

Thona chuckled. "Lucky that I actually knew you weren't a small rabbit, or big rat. " He said. If he was a bad hunter, he would have pounced and actually killed the small fry. He took another step closer.
Should he dare say his name. The small fry had yet to show himself worthy of his name. "I don't give my name freely." he paused and looked at his paw. "You have to be worthy of my name." He chuckled again. He eyed the small fry. He had a funky looking tail. Easy to grab and dangle him in the air.
Oh, that would be so fun to do. His eyes were on the tail, though were still watching every movment the little one made. Just incase the small fry thought he could take him down.

"I'm bigger than a rat. Or a small rabbit. If you were a good hunter, you'd known I was not prey, but one of your own kind." Danzo said defiantly. He wanted to add some sarcastic comment at the end, but felt that it might be pushing it farther over the edge.
"Is your name really that special?" He asked regarding what the adult said next. "A name is just a name. It can be easily change, but it doesn't define what you really are." Danzo's mind was racing and started putting on a more cocky attitude. "For example, if your name was Lily, not that it is, it doesn't mean you're actually a lily, or even share common traits of one.
So in that way, a name means nothing. But I am Danzo, if you want to know."
The kit didn't feel as frightened of the Ulaya, right after he had given a rant of his. His tail bounced up and down enthusiastically, as if taunting him in a silly manner.

"Wrong. A name has everything to do with who you are. It is yours, and only yours. When you run into a God, and you say your name, they can control you." He lied, yet he said it in a very confident way. He was a good lier. Perhaps there was a god out there that could control you with your name.
"And didn't I just say that I knew you weren't a rabbit or a rat? I knew exactly what you were." Another lie. He knew that the other wasn't a rabbit, and wasn't a Rat, but didn't know he was a Ulaya until he got a better look.
He pointed to his band around his head and to his gem. "See this? It means I'm a very good hunter." He was good. Though, simple things could confuse him just like any other hunter.
His eyes were still on the tail. Stepping closer to the little one he reached for his tail. It'd be fun dangling him from his tail. He grinned evily.

Danzo noticed the paw of the Ulaya inch closer to his tail, and waved it around a bit. Many people were interested in it, but from the attitude of him, he was worried that he might abuse it somehow.
"Gods? Gods can really control someone through names?" He asked in a skeptical voice. Danzo never met a god, but he doubted what the hunter told him. He figured that they don't have that much power, or he'd see their effects on the world more clearly.
"If you knew exactly what I was, then why did you pounce on me like how you'd pounce on prey? If you are a decent hunter, and you knew that, you probably pounced on me for some other vicious reason." Danzo said before wiggling his tail again.

He tried to grab the tail, but the little annoying ulaya had moved it. How unfun. He grin didn't come off his face, however. "Of course gods have that power. Why do you think they have Ulaya's worshiping them?" He would never worship a god. Work with one, but not worship.
"Because I wanted to scare you. It's fun to toy with others, didn't you know?" Maybe he could convince the little one to be kind of like him. Then send him home to his parents. Oh, the joy of that. Watching him treat his parent's horrible. who needed them anyways. Parents were just a waste of time. If he ever had kids, he'd teach them what they needed to know and leave them to fend for themselves.
He tried to grab the young one's tail again.

Danzo quickly pulled his tail away before bapping his paw with the ball part of it a moment later. He wondered what would it feel like to be hung upside-down, but decided againest finding out.
"The gods must not have as much power as you think though. I do not see many Ulaya praying and worshipping them open. In fact, I do believe I haven't seen anyone doing that at all." Danzo replied smartly. Except the fact that he hasn't been out much since he emerged from his box, what he said was true.
So the hunter wanted to scare him, didn't he? He was doing a fairly decent job, but Danzo was not the most terrified yet. He found the conversations interesting, and not frightening at all.
"I'm afraid I'm not old enough to 'toy with others' yet. Adults are not bothered by any smart remarks a kit make, or if they do, it's often because they're irritated. And," He left a pause to take another breath. "If I was to torture a smaller being, like a frog, I would not find it exactly the most pleasant. There are much better things to do rather than scare little creatures."

He laughed as he pulled his tail away. That wasn't much fun. Thona stopped trying to go for his tail for the time being, but kept it as an option in case the little one forgot he was trying to grab it.
"You may have seen them with out even knowing, little one. They look much like any of the rest of us." He simply said. Or at least that's how it was with all the gods he has met. They had some difference to them, but not much. "So watch your name, or you might give it to the wrong Ulaya."
"Perhaps they don't worship their gods in public?" He replyed. "Oh? Then you've done it wrong with adults. I've scared plently of adults when I was your age." his tail twitched around.
"Well, that's only because frogs are useless in this world. They are no fun. Same with most little creatures." He said almost bored with this conversation. He yawned and looked about. This little one wasn't as fun as he was hoping.

Danzo watched as the Ulaya yawned, thinking that prehaps he was getting tired. If so, then maybe he'll finally leave him alone. He himself found keeping the conversations on tiresome.
"Were you ever a small kit? I have trouble imagining you so." He said, looking him over. Besides the fact that it was hard to imagine the firece hunter as a small child, he didn't seem like he came from a box at all. Or he never retained part of his childhood.

He raised an eye brow. Of course he was a kit before. Then he smirked. "Oh, you caught me. I came to this place exactly how I am. I wasn't ever a kit." Ho this was fun. Perhaps he could pass himself off as a mystical beast for at least a little bit. His tail flicked lightly on the ground as he sat there.
If only this kit wasn't a kit. If he had been an adult he would have just jumped on him and attacked him for being there. He felt in a mood for a fight. Though, he wasn't totally mean with young ulaya. He wanted them to grow, and give him a challenge then.
