Hey all just wanted to ask when was your first con? What did you cosplay as? But mostly how did you like your first experiance? My First cosplay event was in Franconia, Springfield Va...But I live in DC let's just say it was a long Train ride on Metro when I could've taken a shortcut......... -_-*sighs* but anyway my first con was this year it was sooooo much fun I saw my favorite charaters and amazing shows but this year I didn't cosplay though so I decided as soon when I get rid of my problem areas I am all set to dooooooo GOTHIC LOLITA yea I said it well my first sucky cosplay outfit I put together when I checked out some places  Im the black girl next to Alucard (boy you could tell I didn't wear sun block because I sure am a paler brown then that *looks at skin and says uh nvm* also I have to wear glasses now I look so much better) Any way Join forum to tell y'all experiance and if you can add a pic....

That looks like fun saw Zoey and Corina from Mew-mew Power, Bleach's luietant of Squad 9 and the Captain of Squad 8, Rock Lee, and a possible Akatsuki member.
My first time was two years ago on Halloween went to school dressed like a Jonin or Chunin rank ninja. Though one girl, the only other one who realized other then my best friend, thought that I looked like Hinata. Sorry no pic. 'cause no knew till then that I was going to try a cosplay.

My very first con that I went to was Anime Banzai in Utah. It was actually kind of depressing. It was the first anime con in Utah, and I didn't have any friends then that really liked anime, so... went alone .__.
The first time I attempted to cosplay (bought the costume, though) was at AX this year as Tifa from Advent Children. I'm still nervous 'bout the fact that people took my picture. >_>

umm.. i went to Fanime Con 2007 in Downtown San Jose... was pretty awesome. my friend cosplayed as L from Death Note

im going to awa (Anime Weekend Atlanta). its sept 19-21 and i cant wait!! i have been to dragon con (the last day 2 years ago) and last year i want to awa on the last day with my ex-boyfriend (still good friends) this year im going all 3 days and staying in a hotel with 4-5 other people.also im making my dress (with little from amy-chan who has made her own before). below is the link to who i want to be. Suiseiseki!!!! (the one in the green dress) and im going to act my newbe friend if she will be Souseseki (the one in the blue). they are from Rozen Maiden. i cant wait!!!!!!!!!

My first convention and cosplay was Florida Supercon. I went as TS Hinata and my cousin was a gothic lotia. The pictures are in my guild. Just follow the link on the picture in my siggy and it's on the main forum page, if you want to see them.

That con..really opened my world..
I didn't cosplay, cause I didn't know about it till about two weeks before, because I was at the local Game Xchange and said something about anime and the guy gave me the flier for the con..
but I wore a shirt I drew with Hiei on it! biggrin

ive never been to an anime con before but ill probubly be going to the momocon this year ^^ ill most likely be cosplaying mew ichigo or mikuru

Wait there are cons in San jose? Ughh it takes at leats 50 mnutes for me to get there! Man I wish I could go to one. Lemme cosplay for Halloween! Cosplays here are expensive!

well didn't do cosplay,my first time to go con is invited by my old friend who just gradulated from the school I wanna go the most.
My first con would be CNAnime at Toronto,then my first and last time Anime North in Canada xd
Now In SF,haven't been to any con yet cause I have no idea of where to T^T

it was otakon 2008
i went wit ha friend on the last day cause it was too expensive hhahaha
it is convenient because i live about 15 minutes from baltimore city
