Okay this is a bit of an odd question but here goes... Yuo know how Zelgadiss is 1/3 Demon...wouldn't that mean that he's partially invinible to physical attacks? Before he was always getting pwned by Rezo and all them but never came into consideration of his 1/3 Demon in him...or is it because that he was origoanly a human and was artificialy created into a chimera?
I now, being a Slayers fan I should know better...but I need to get this out of my head so I can move on with my life.

well since hes only part and not hole or even half I really doubt he would get even have of the same things demons have. Its sort of silly to think of it that way really, it just means hes stronger and looks different, along with probably a few other things.

Its sort of silly to think of it that way really, it just means hes stronger and looks different, along with probably a few other things. That is true, but in the Book "Slayers: Ghost of Sairaag" Copy Rezo was part Demon and was immune to physical attacks...that's what I don't understand.

Maybe its because Copy Rezo was a copy and not a real person, likely had nothing to do with being part demon.

I'd have to listen to the subs again for the actual Japanese wording, but I believe that Zelgadis is considered to be demon, but not Mazoku. There is a distinction between the two in the Slayers universe, though I don't remember that in its entirety.
As for the physical part, he's 1/3 human, 1/3 brou demon, and 1/3 rock golem. That means that he's fairly immune to all types of physical attacks, but it implies that he might be more susceptible to elemental magicks.
It gets really persnickety with plot holes and the like, but I'm fairly certain that Zelgadis isn't considered to be Mazoku but if he is, it'd be a very low-leveled one.

Ty Ty No hes a chimera, hes called a chimera not a mazoku>.> Lmao, I was referring to the brou demon part of his chimeric makeup. >.>; You know, since demons and mazoku are different and only mazoku have immunity to physical attacks (since they never had a physical body in the first place). Whereas demons are considered to live on the physical plane..

I think I'll use this as an un-official Slayer Question Thread. Anyway, I have been doing a lot of research into the backstory, set up, and all-round history of the ficticious world of Slayers, and I am finding that I have two big questions that I can't find a reliable answer for:~~~~~1) What the heck was The Legendary Beast Zanafar?~~~~~2) What are the two marks on Lina's forehead?

Zanafar is a demon beast that Gourry's ancestor defeated with the Sword of Light. When the body was buried it gave off a poisonous miasma of evil that threatened people, so the Holy Tree Flagoon was planted to soak up the poison. That's basically as far as the anime goes, though there was a spread of the miasma for awhile when Copi-Rezo messed with the tree.
In the novel, Zanafar is resurected, and faces off against Gourry and Lina directly. Naturally, he gets his a** handed to him on a silver platter... ^_^
The marks on Lina's forehead are moles. QP Diana has a translation of an interview With Kanzaka-sama on her site, and in it he says they put them in there for fun after asking themselves why Lina was wearing a headband.
In Next, Amelia has a dream where Lina catches flies with them, like frogs do with their tongues, but I don't know if that's found anywhere else, or just in the anime.
